summary: a morning with Matt and Gracie taking care of their daughter, Rory

The morning started off like normal, Matt in the shower, Gracie doing her makeup, and Rory sleeping. It’s always peaceful until Rory gets up and runs into her parents room.
“Good morning, sweetie.”
“good morning, mommy”
After the small interaction, Rory wants her hair to be nice and pretty for preschool, so Gracie put her on the counter and started on her hair.
Matt walked out of the shower to see his wife doing his daughter’s hair. He smiled to himself and walked into the closet. Matt picked out a pair of jeans and a random hoodie. After getting changed he walked back into the bathroom to see what his girls were doing.
Gracie had finished Rory’s hair. Two buns at the top of her head. But Rory decided she wanted bows on the buns, so both girls are looking through a drawer with the hair items.
“Your hair looks pretty Rory.” Matt said to his daughter.
“Thank you daddy!” Rory smiled, while still looking for 2 pink bows.
“Oh, Rory, look at these two bows. Do you want these ones?” Gracie held up two small pink bows that would fit in Rory’s hair.
Rory nodded at her mom. Gracie put the two bows right in front of the buns. Matt just watched both girls, happy to have them both in his life.
“Alright, there you go! Now let’s go get you changed.” Rory smiled at her hair, happy that she got bows.
Rory walked out of the room, headed for her own.
“I love you.” Matt said, also smiling. Matt pulled Gracie in for a kiss, and she accepted it. Once they pulled away Gracie said it back.
“I love you too. Now I gotta go get Rory changed. Can you pack her lunch?”
Matt replied, “Yeah, I can. I’ll also get her breakfast.”
“Thank you so much, Matt. We’ll be down there soon.”
Matt nodded and headed off towards the kitchen, while Gracie headed for Rorys bedroom.
In the kitchen, Matt puts a ham and cheese sandwich, — cut in fours — a cutie, juice box, gummies, and a small piece of chocolate in Rory’s lunchbox. He also gets breakfast ready for Rory, fruit loops and a glass of milk. Matt also made a cup of coffee for Gracie to drink, Matt just ate a cutie.
Rory and Gracie come down the stairs together, Rory running straight to the dining table to eat, and Gracie walking towards Matt.
“Here’s your coffee m’lady.” Matt says in a funny voice.
“Why thank you young lad.” Gracie responds, playing along with him.
“I’m not a young lad.” Matt whines.
Gracie gives Matt a look, while taking a sip of her coffee.
“Mommy can I watch tv?” Rory asks from the table.”
“Yeah, come on let’s sit down.”
Gracie, Matt, and Rory all come to sit on the couch. Matt grabs the remote puts on SpongeBob. They watch the show together, until Matt says it’s time to drop Rory off at preschool.

Matt and Em were the ‘it’ couple. They were perfect for each other. Matt was on YouTube, and Em was in the music industry. They were loved by all, until one fatal date night in downtown LA.
They were in the car after dinner chatting, kissing, doing what couples do. They were having a great time, until Matt found a way to start an argument — about Em cheating.
“Matt, I don’t understand what you’re talking about! I never cheated, or have even thought about it!” Em exclaimed. She was getting mad at Matt, because she had never even thought of doing that to him. Matt has the love of her life.
“But you did, Em!”
Em let out a slight sob, was she going to lose her boyfriend? Over an argument about her cheating? Em was have mixed emotions to saw the least.
“Em, I know what you did! I know you cheated with Eric. I’m not as dumb as you think I am!” Matt had also started to cry — very small cries — he didn’t know why he was arguing with Em. Maybe he was jealous of Eric.
“Matt, if you just jealous or mad at Eric, tell me! I’ll stop talking to him for you. You know that I love you!” Em needed an explanation to why Matt was suddenly mad about Eric. Matt never had a problem with him before, up until now.
“Maybe we won’t work Em.” Matt whispered, his cries now a little louder.
“What?” Em chocked out, her sobs getting the best out of her. “What do you mean, Matt?”
“I mean, maybe this isn’t for us. Eric would be better for you. I mean look at me, Em.”
“Matt we can’t do this. Not now. Please.” Em looked at Matt through her wet eyelashes. Mascara now running down her face, her full face of makeup now ruined from crying.
“I’m sorry Em. We’re over. We can’t do this anymore.” Matt sobbed.
“Matt please!” Em was now sobbing with Matt. “We can work this out! I promise!”
Matt shook his head no, while unlocking his car. A small sign saying ‘get out of my car’
Em nodded at his action. Not wanting to, she left his car anyways. Em was now standing on the side of the road crying to herself.
— 2 months later —
Matt and Em had become strangers ever since that night. Matt blocked the girl on every social media platform. So fans knew they weren’t talking, or that something happened between the old ‘it’ couple.
Because of her experience, Em had made a song about her break up experience with Matt. It wasn’t a mean song, because deep down, she knew she still loved him. So the song was a soft song, lightly explained what she felt like.
The song title was “strangers.” She loved it with her heart, one of her favorite songs — mostly because it was about Matt.
But what Em didn’t expect was that her song was going to go viral on TikTok. She was scared because Em didn’t know if she wanted Matt to hear the song she wrote about him. But of course, he heard it. He loved the song, until he realized that his favorite ex, Em Winters, wrote it.

backstory: in senior year of highschool, gracie and matt hooked up and ended up with twin girls, aroura and florence. during this time matt was also gaining a lot of attention, but for the sake of his girlfriend and kids, he always kept them out of the youtube. it was like the three girls where all ghosts, no one talked about them. which gracie loved! she didn’t want to be on them and she was also happy that a camera wasn’t being shoved in her kids faces. but about a year later, they end up with another little girl, olivia. it was a shock at first, but olivia was a wonderful addition to the family they had. matt was still with gracie and they had not two but three kids together. when they had finally gotten married was when matt decided to hard launch. matt posted wedding photos on his instagram account, including pictures of him and gracie, and pictures of the the girls. this was a shock to all the fans, matt had a girlfriend this entire time and they didn’t know about, and three kids too! once this was out, gracie and the girls were in almost every vlog. of course matt and gracie tried to keep the girls away from the camera as much as possible to prevent any creeps, but they could never stay away from dad or uncle nick and chris.
it was a normal night in the sturniolo household. the three little girls, rory, flor, and liv, where all in bed and matts girlfriend, gracie - soon to be fiancé, but she doesn’t know that - is getting ready for bed. matt on the other hand is in his room streaming and playing fortnite with his brothers. chris and nick.
when gracie is done washing her face in the bathroom, she walks into hers and matts room. gracie knows that matt is streaming so she is a little hesitant to lay down in bed. the thing is, matt’s fans don’t know that he has a girlfriend, let alone three kids. matt noticed the door opening and looked over at gracie. matt mouthed the word “hey” to gracie. she smiled at him and just sat on the bed. matt brought his attention back to the game while gracie got in bed.
the chat noticed that something was clearly going on behind him. they could hear shuffling. and it was obvious that someone else was in the room. matt ignored all the chats about the noise in the background, because him or gracie weren't ready to hard launch yet. once gracie got comfortable in bed, all the noises stopped, except one. you could hear little feet running acros the floor, and they were getting louder, as if there were coming closer to matt’s room. matt could even here the footsteps. as he only had his headset on one ear. matt panically looked back at gracie. they could both hear one of their little girls clearly coming straight to there room.
as soon as matt looked back at gracie, his door swung open, and florence was standing in the doorway with wet eyes. gracie and matt immediately went into parent mode. seeing wet eyelashes and tears coming down your kids face is never a thing you wanna see. gracie was about to say something but flor interrupted her by saying.
“daddy!” with tears in her eyes. she runs up to matt and crawls in his lap. matt just sits there and comforts his daughter.
“what’s going on, sugar?” matt asks, his heart beating a little faster than normal.
“i-i had,” -hiccup- “a s-scary dream!” florence cried. gracie’s heart just about broke hearing her kid cry. florence was the ‘tuff’ one out of all her siblings, so it was unusual to see her cry.
“do you wanna talk about it, flor?” matt asks in the sweetest tone.
florence nods her head ‘no’ and just sits in his lap until she falls asleep again. in about 5 minutes, florence is out like a light, and gracie walks over to matt to pick florence up and take her back to bed. both matt and gracie had completely forgotten that matt was streaming. so not only was matt’s girlfriend -that no one knew about- one of his daughters was also shown on the stream.
gracie takes florence back to her room, and matt goes back to his stream. the chat is going crazy, saying stuff like ‘WHOS KID IS THAT’ and ‘WHO IS THAT GIRL’. matt decides to wait until gracie gets back to answer questions.
gracie walks back into the room and heads straight for matt.
“hey, sweetheart. the stream saw all of that.” matt drops.
“oh shit. matt, are you ok with that?” gracie panics. but it slowly dies down when matt nods his head yes, as if saying ‘i’ve been waiting to show you off to the public.’ matt is so happy, that he pulls gracie in for a kiss. gracie accepts his kiss, by kissing him back. once matt pulls away, he pulls her closer to him. matt is basically showing the camera to gracie. he’s showing everyone that gracie is his.
“hey, guys” gracie awkwardly waves at the camera. matt lets out a small giggle at her action.
“let me explain guys. basically, i have this super awesome sauce girlfriend. and i have three amazing little girls. and i love them all with my whole heart. and yes the kids are mine and gracie’s, and we had them when me and gracie where in high school.” matt basically just summed everything up.
gracie nods, and kisses matt on the check, then goes back to laying in bed.

HELP!!
A while ago I read a Matt fic on Wattpad and it was better than the movies, but Matt sturniolo and an oc instead of Wes and Liz. I think it was called in between, but I can’t find it anymore 😓 someone please help
