Yeah I totally understand your point OP. It's just that having the representation in skin tone and what not is part of giving credit to usually unrecognized groups of people.

So although I can already tell the devs have done their cultural research and hopefully won't write anything dumb into lore, it would still be cooler to see a playable character in a darker skin tone. Although I'm not Brazilian myself I hope to see some positive native rep in lore.
