Mike Wheeler is incredibly intelligent.
I wanted to go over the desert scene again. ‘Useless’ Mike was the one to find the slip of paper in the pen.
Mike’s face is someone who wants to know where El is and get to her before the military potentially kills her first. He had to bury a dead agent who saved their lives. And now he faces insecurity within himself for not saying I love you when he had the chance.
Once, Argyle complains about the pen not working, Mike immediately picked up on the absurdity of giving them a pen that doesn’t have ink. So what does our boy with rock for brains does? He actually opens the pen and out comes the slip of paper that contains the coordinates.
After they found out it was coordinates, Mike immediately thought of the best hacker they know: Suzie.
He believes in her capabilities to help save the world just like last time. Jonathan is a bit apprehensive about it at first but Mike doesn’t waver in his gut instincts. Even though Argyle and Jonathan are older, Mike shows more leadership qualities in that he hatches a plan and tells everyone else directly why he thinks it’s the best course of action. Basically, just trust him on this.
After getting Suzie’s help, he compliments her by saying she’s a certified genius. A genius recognizes another genius. I appreciate the focus on Mike leading this lil adventure to Suzie’s crazy house.
He might be getting less screentime but he works with what he has. And I really like what they did with his character in season 4. I think it sets up his later development in season 5 pretty well.

I felt this pressure of saying the right thing and feeling like I don’t articulate as good as everyone else does. However, I have to remind myself that I won’t be perfect. At least I have people hearing what I say.

Ya El and Will has gone through much worse but it still doesn't give you right to call someone's trauma non existent.
Mike around season 1 almost lost Will (his best friend since kindergarten). He a 12 year old saw his best friend body being pulled out of a river/pond and at that time no one knew that it's a fake body. He jumped off a cliff in order to save his another friend and you are saying that it doesn't count as trauma?
By saying this you are literally denying that Joyce had any trauma.
At least he still jumped (even tho he was saved by El), I bet you would've ran away.
Btw here's the definition of trauma (since u are soo dumb),
Mike was neglected by his parents
At ending of season 1 he thought that he lost El
Around season 2 he had to witnessed his best friend being hurt and being possessed by some giant creature
He was literally bullied for his entire life for god sake and was getting names like "frog face"
And you are saying that this doesn't count as trauma?
Please get some knowledge on how to analyse a character then open ur freaking trashbin in the form of mouth.
Idk why I'm praying that my favourite character will die, this post reminded me of that fact
