Hashira x Sibling Figure!Fem!Reader Headcanon (Platonic)

Tengen

Hes so proud to be your flamboyant brother. You're his almost as flamboyant sister.

He likes to treat you like your his little sister, being all protective and caring, but in reality you're older and you've beat him in combat enough to shut him up at least.

The sense of family is always so nice to have though.

His wives absolutely adore you and you adore them too, and you know that you're always welcome in his home and always will be.

Absolute bone crushing hugs are a daily experience, the man literally bear hugs you like he's secretly plotting your death. Your spine cracks and clicks every. Single. Time.

Not to mention the slaps on the upper back and shoulder he likes to give you when he's talking. It's like he's trying to burp you.

He knows he can talk about absolutely anything with you and you'll understand, you've been there since the beginning after all.

Nothing will stop him from bragging about being your brother. Your bond never ceases to put a smile on your face.

Sanemi

He has very frequent outbursts at you, but it's fine because you match his energy, and you always yell at him back. He never wins.

You both have such a strong bond, so it makes sense that you both fight like siblings too.

He does hold his tongue on the snarky attitude though, since you always seem to pick a fight with him over it.

But he knows that through all of your fighting and glaring daggers, that he can still come to you for anything.

You also get special treatment because he tolerates you, though he never says it out loud.

He also prefers to go on missions with you to act like the older brother, always trying to protect you and show you that he's stronger. It backfires all the time though, since you literally kick his ass every time he annoys you with that 🦶

He just wants to keep you alive. He wants you to stay with him and keep being his big sister and you know it. He's just too stubborn to talk to you in any way that's not a threat.

Mitsuri

She finds you absolutely adorable, which mirrors the way you see her. She loves you and fawns over you all the time.

You're the one who taught her how to braid her hair, and you redo it for her every time she asks because you love her.

Your bond is so strong that your mental link is almost scary. Almost instantly you can tell when there's something on her mind, and she can do the same thing with you.

This was actually how you found out about her crush on a fellow hashira.

Of course you will never pass up the chance to tease her about it, you just wouldn't be an adequate sister otherwise.

She loves to give you an affectionate hug around the waist as a greeting and when she's happy, and she doesn't quite wrap her arms all the way around, only placing them on your ribs under your arms.

She absolutely loves to tell everyone how lovely and pretty and honourable she thinks you are, singing your praise like you do to her. She must've learned it from you.

Kyojuro

He has so much adoration and respect for you that he practically reeks of it when you're around.

Whenever he sees you, you could swear he's twinkling, he just positively lights up when you're around.

Senjuro adores you as well, since you've been there for the both of them and absolutely refuse to pick a favourite, and you act like a mentor and friend to both of the siblings.

Rengoku only respects you so much more for it.

He thinks you're an absolute delight to be around and his cheeks almost hurt when he speaks to you because he's smiling so wide all the damned time.

He even thinks it's cool that you can whoop his ass in combat too, and it makes sense since you've been there with him since pretty much day one to fight and train with him and grow alongside him.

He can always count on you to give the best advice too. If he seeks an opinion, hell come to you first.

He likes to make you laugh too, and when he treats you like family it makes your heart constrict.

Muichiro

The sweetheart really tries his best to be the perfect brother to you, and he feels so lucky to have you as his sister.

Hes always a good listener but as much as he really tries to remember everything you're saying, it's really difficult for him.

You never see that as a problem though, and it's even a plus that you can tell him your every secret and he won't let that change the way he thinks about you, not like that would ever happen if he did remember.

He absolutely loves to take naps by your side. You two have been practically inseparable since day one and you're always there to be a crutch for him when he needs it.

He loves to watch the clouds with you as well, and sit on the floor while getting lost in thought, comfortable with the presence of his overprotective older sister there with him

A/N: sorry i haven't been active for a while, i've been super busy being obsessed with Melanie Martinez's album Portals 😭 and i had lots of annoying setbacks writing this (⁠ب⁠_⁠ب⁠) ... while writing in drafts I forgot to save the draft three times and rewrote it, it toke three days to finish this post 😭 ...so, since reader is a minor and it is a platonic relationship no sexulazing and i am sorry but this is a female reader, you can still change the pronouns if you want but it would be weird in some parts. I had so much fun writing this lmao (⁠๑⁠¯⁠◡⁠¯⁠๑⁠) and idk how many crying emojis i used here-

> you realized that you were going to suffer hell from the way he looked at you, so you started working on the first day before dawn. when Obanai aggressively knocked on your door and got no answer, he went out into the garden and you surprised him once again.

> so, in a few weeks he decided maybe you are not that bad and he started to take you on missions with him.

> on the rare occasions when he has no missions, he'll agree if you want to go to festivals or bazaar with him. you just drag him with you to store to store and he says nothing just comes with you.

> of course you found out his love for ohagi and you cooked for him to make the awkward relationship between you a little more intimate. (you are a bad cook.)

> after you shook your head and came to your senses, you went to the counter and at some point you started helping him, now you two are making ohagi together. while trying to follow the instructions he gave you in an aggressive voice, you accidentally knocked over the flour sack and now a ghostly Sanemi and Y/N are having a staring contest lmao.

> after his brain processed what was going on he chased you around the house with a knife lmao. after a few rounds in the house chasing you, he beat you up and then went back to making ohagi, muttering angrily aggressive words.

> after preparing the ohagi, he shouted for you, who was hiding somewhere in the house form him. you went down the stairs hesitantly, still traumatized. the two of you sat across from each other at the table and now a flour-covered Sanemi and a beaten and traumatized Y/N are eating ohagi in silence. (lmao this scene is even funnier when you imagine in your head.)

> after that event you decided not to cook anything again for your life.

> after a while, you heard about Genya and when you learned how things were between them, you decided to reconcile them. (didn't end up good.)

> missions are normal with Sanemi, ignoring that he's a total sadist towards demons. you look at the other slayers and laugh nervously as he tortures the severed demon head with that scary Sanemi smile.

> in general being his tsuguko is tiring and sometimes he makes you go between life and death but sometimes funny though.

> okay so, we all know he is a terrible teacher, you will face many difficulties as you grow stronger. he just shows you the technique and tells you about it a bit then leaves you on your own. on the first day of your training, he did this and you stood in the training area with that surprised Pikachu face.

> he is a bad teacher but he always spys on you to see your progress while you train alone. so mostly you have to improve yourself on your own.

> a cat lover tsuguko and Gyomei is a perfect match, also i imagine he has more than one cats in his house, i can imagine you crying with Gyomei when a pregnant cat gave birth. (someone bring napkin and chocolate for this two.)

> you don't do a lot of social activities together, but there are a lot of temple visits. but after a while he stopped taking you with him to temples, because... once as you two were climbing the temple steps, you slipped and fell down the stairs, when you raised your head up you saw a monkey staring at you and you stuck your tongue out at it, once while he was praying you got lost in the woods and you stepped on a mossy rock by a river and slipped then started drifting in the river lmao. he barely saved your life shouting namu amida butsu.

> even if you don't know what it means, soon you'll start humming the hymns he always chants because it's addictive. you even found a rhythm for the hymns that you didn't know the meaning of and turned it into a song. but you got chaught to gyomei singing that- you two were glancing each other and you had that Pikachu face again ehe (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) Gyomei tried to exorcise you by claiming that the devil had entered you. and after this incident you never uttered a word of the hymn again. lol

> Genya + You = BFFs. You two get along very well with each other. since Genya was rescued by you and Gyomei when he went out of control after eating a demon. he stubbornly decided to follow Gyomei everywhere, he wanted to be his tsuguko but after finding out he already has one, he was dissapointed but you decided to help him practice breathing techniques. you wanted to help. he was so shy at first but over time he got comfortable with you.

> so, Gyomei is like a dad who is always there to stop you from doing stupid things for you and you love him. ☜⁠ ⁠(⁠↼⁠_⁠↼⁠)

RENGOKU KYOJURO

> trainings with Kyojuro are like hell, you understand why all of those people who were supposed to be his tsuguko ran away.

> but this man is so precious and you are determined too, first of all you have pride, you can't just run away like others did.

> you have very less time except of training. but you will endure it, after all, he spends his time and effort to train you.

you always cared for sanemi, and sanemi had always cared for you. so when you learned of his nightly activities, it worried you. sometimes he’d come home with torn clothes, and other days sanemi returned with fresh wounds. if you hadn’t fallen asleep by then, you’d dress his wounds tenderly. it wasn’t any better after joining the demon slayer corps.

the thought of him putting himself in danger like that gnawed at your stomach the first few weeks. but then time passed, and you no longer feared as much. there was always a possibility of losing sanemi, but he proved himself to be strong, both physically and in drive. though, you always prayed for his safety.

your upper body leaned on the low table, chest rising and falling as sanemi approached. the meal you set for him had grown cold a long time ago, but he’ll eat it regardless. first, the boy was going to carry you to your futon. though, the sight of a sleeping genya, whose head rested on your thigh, made him pause.

in his sleep, the young boy clung to your figure. and it was no wonder you only supported your head on the table with one arm, the other one rested on genya’s back. it must’ve been uncomfortable for you, yet you remained in that position for hours, awake or not.

the first one sanemi carried to their respective futon was genya. he was much heavier than before, the older boy thought. he was glad that genya was growing properly, especially with how much you fed him. the black-haired boy loved your cooking so much he almost always ate nearly half of it.

sanemi eventually carried your slouched form to your futon. he set you down gently before placing your blanket over the lower half of your body. you got warm easily, so sanemi knew it would be best to not cover you completely.

the moonlight shone on your sleeping figure as sanemi brushed your stray hairs away from your face. his eyes traveled from you to the cold plate on the table. always so caring, you were. his gaze then landed on genya, who you always treated as your own brother.

sanemi, despite the many things he has yet to comprehend, was sure of one thing— his love for you. the two of you were still teenagers, but he was sure of his feelings. as his fingers traveled from your forehead to your cheek, cupping your face lightly, there was only a single thought that occupied his mind.

one day, in a world free of demons, he’d take your hand and ask you to be his.

it was when you were crying in his arms that GIYUU TOMIOKA knew that he wanted your hand in marriage. although he was skilled, he was rendered unconscious during a mission after slaying two demons with tricky demon blood arts. although he was only unconscious from night till the next afternoon, you couldn’t help but worry.

you were no demon slayer, so the thought of your partner being bedridden had scared you. you rushed to his bedside when giyuu’s crow informed you of his state. and as you sat by his sleeping form, the little butterfly estate girls told you that although he was littered with cuts, none of them were deep.

part of you always believed that giyuu was invincible. even though you knew he was the highest rank in the demon slayer corps, he never came home with worrying injuries. a few small cuts here and there were all treated by you before the two of you fell into bed.

seeing giyuu’s bare torso covered in white patches reminded you that giyuu was not invincible, and even someone skilled like him was vulnerable to injury.

compared to the corps members that already died before giyuu was assigned the mission, he was barely harmed. but since you didn’t see it that way, he saw the tears that brimmed your eyes after he woke up. your hug was gentle as if you’d hurt him if you squeezed him tight.

giyuu snaked his arms around your waist as you cried and told him how you worried for him. your words, even your tears alone spoke volumes about how much you cared for him. the black-haired man held you tighter, knowing that he cared for you just as much, and one day hoped to show you by proposing with a ring fit only for you.

you and OBANAI IGURO were lying bare in bed the moment he realized he wanted to marry you. it was late at night and the two of you had your limbs tangled together underneath a thick blanket, skin-to-skin for half an hour in near darkness. the muted moonlight that shone through the shoji door was only enough to outline the other’s figure.

obanai’s skin burned beneath your smooth fingers, the gentle touch scorching his very being. you always had that effect on him, especially when he was most vulnerable to you, when he was bare.

your fingers brushed the skin of his cheeks, lightly touching the part of his face that he always kept bandaged up. your fingers ran over the bumpy skin once more before you cupped his cheeks, pressing your forehead to his.

there were a few nights you’d spend like this. though, it was always so dark. you wanted to see your lover in full, but knowing how he felt about it, you never forced him to. after all, it had taken you some time to get used to the reminder of your own past; the large scar that ran from your chest to your belly button.

you laid your head back onto your pillow before you asked him if it was okay to light up a candle although you expected him to politely decline. instead, he hesitated before saying you could. after you asked once more to be sure, the black-haired man decided to light the candle for you.

his face, illuminated by the candlelight, turned towards you. obanai watched as you crawled towards him and sat on his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck. you told him that his beauty never failed to make you awe as he snaked his hands onto your hips.

you smiled at him lovingly before you laid your head in the crook of his neck, finding comfort in your position. he tucked back a piece of your hair before resting his cheek atop your head. obanai thought someone as tainted as him didn’t deserve such love from you, someone so pure. however, you wandered into his arms with no argument, embracing his being. obanai was sure that when the time was right, he’d marry you under your favorite cherry blossom tree.

the two of you were having brunch when MITSURI KANROJI realized she wanted to marry you one day. being the absolute bundle of joy she was, mitsuri was excited about the brunch the two of you planned days before. you’d be coming over to her estate, so the woman made sure to have lots of food prepared.

you arrived at mitsuri’s estate earlier than planned with a tray of sakura mochi you made just for her. although she ushered you to the dining room while she rushed the rest of her cooking and baking outside, you couldn’t help but wonder what was taking her so long. and when you realized it was because mitsuri was running all over the place to pay attention to everything she was cooking at once, you opted to help her.

you smiled at the love hashira, telling her she didn’t have to do all of this by herself, especially since she was providing for their meal. with a blossoming pink dusted across her cheeks, mitsuri thanked you and the two of you finished soon enough.

with everything set on the table, the two of you dug in. mitsuri babbled about her recent adventures like always, and you listened with a small smile on your face. from the moment you met, mitsuri was always so bright. the happiness she had always oozed out of her being and spread onto you, though you’ve never minded it.

while you found yourself lost in admiring her, another blush made its way onto mitsuri’s cheeks. your fond stare nearly made her heart melt when she noticed it. setting down her bowl, she felt her heart race against her chest as a certain thought crossed her mind.

you seemed to have caught yourself and quickly coughed before eating some of the fluffy pancakes she had made, commenting on how good they tasted. mitsuri giggled before she grinned endearingly. if you got married one day, then maybe the happiness of sharing a single meal would continue forever. truthfully, she wished that day would come soon.

Demon Slayer characters when you kiss for the first time

Tanjiro

He was very shy when starting the kiss, however, it seemed to flow very naturally between the two of you. Almost like you had been doing this for many years before. He made sure that he had his hands on either side of your face to make you as comfortable as possible. When you broke apart, he gave you a little peck on the nose and voiced his love for you whilst still holding your face.

Zenitsu

Blushing like crazy for the whole thing. Poor boy was a stuttering and blushing mess before, during and after you shared your first kiss. 9/10 chance that he almost faints when you break apart. It's become his new hobby that he likes to indulge in, however, he likes to make sure that each kiss he gives you is very special.

Inosuke

It was a bit awkward and sloppy due to him not having the slightest bit of knowledge on the subject. He kept asking you if he was doing it right and if he was winning, obviously making it a competition. With it being your first together, it was very sweet, enjoying the moment and being close with one another. After this, he has absolutely no sense of PDA and will just kiss you wherever and whenever.

Rengoku

It's very romantic and has you both feeling dizzy after. It was a slow kiss, one that allowed you to appreciate each other and sense each others emotions. He would have an arm around your waist and the other hand cradling your face as he gently kisses you. He knows he's a strong man and he's scared that he might hurt you, therefore meaning that he gives the most gentle and passionate first kiss.

Uzui

He's so smug. He's wanted to do it for so long that he gets a bit carried away and didn't put to much effort into making it special. At first, it was very chaotic as he didn't have a full grasp of his control but he did manage to slow down and hold you close to him. It definitely turned very passionate and he was not afraid if someone were to see you both in such a vulnerable state.

Giyuu

He's super shy when you kiss for the first time. However, that doesn't mean that his smile will vanish from his red face. He loved feeling how soft you were and appreciating your presence so close to him. Definitely hugs you after and buries his face into your neck, he's usually very reserved but every time you kiss him, he turns into a completely different person.

Sanemi

It was a bit of a rough kiss at first. Almost like he was trying to prove a point to you or something. But when he was used to the feel of your kissing, he learned to be more gentle with you. When he leaves to do this, kissing is something that you really both enjoy and do a lot more frequently. Your first kiss was a bit of a roller-coaster but it only went uphill form there.

Mitsuri

She definitely giggled a lot. She was so excited to finally kiss you that she was practically screaming! Your first kiss together was really tender and you both loved every second of it. She made sure that it was in a really romantic setting to make you feel more special. Now every time you kiss, she brags about it to everyone else.

Kamaboko trio + Nezuko

You met them in recovery after the mountain Natagumo. You had a mission you got an injury from your collarbone to your stomach so you stayed in the recovery room. It was a decently bad scratch (You would have considered it a minor injury but Koucho insisted you stay and let her treat you) You arrived after them, about 2 days later.

You easily recognized Tanjirou from the meeting about him and his demon sister. You understand the bond of the two siblings but didn't agree on him keeping her as a demon. Though, you wouldn't say it aloud.

He also recognized you from the same meeting as well, complimenting your light blue and white themed as you lounges in the room, taking the medicine given to you by Aoi. He's a sweetheart.

You didn't know the other boys, who you learned the names of due to Tanjirou. The boar masked, Inosuke you learned, always demanded a fight after learning your position as hashira after he threatened you and got hit on the head by Tanjirou and reprimanded. You laughed and waved him off, not taking the boar seriously. Tanjirou felt immensely horrible by what Inosuke did, you just had to reassure him there was no I'll feelings after.

But, unfortunately, Inosuke was very serious about dueling you. It was a reoccurring demand every few minutes or so. The easier way to get him from asking was to tell him to regain all his strength and then possibly you could duel. But that just turned into him throwing the door open everyday after practicing telling you that he got stronger and was going to beat you.

The yellow boy, Zenitsu, was probably the worst out of the trio. Crying and screaming most of the day about taking his medicine and how tiny his limbs were. Normally you stuffed your face into your pillow and tried blocking all noise. All above, it only intensified when he heard of your position. All hell breaks loose and he's crying and wailing louder (you didn't think that was possible) to the point Koucho came to the room herself.

She opened the door to see you in your bed, torso and lower neck wrapped I fresh bandages sipping tea, and a full blown wailing Zenitsu across from you in his own bed. You looked heavily annoyed by his continual screams of "I'M GOING TO DIE! THERE'S A HASHIRA IN HERE! I'M DOOMED! DOOMED I SAY!" and blubbering other incoherent words. Koucho would try to calm him (spoiler it didn't work) before having to get Tanjirou to calm the feral boy.

You met Nezuko in rather weird circumstances. It was a total accident. It was nighttime, way late into the evening when everyone was asleep, minus you. Spending most of your day in bed sleeping kept you awake at night most of the time. You decided to go on a walk (don't tell Koucho, she'd kill you if you opened any of the stitched scratches and would be upset you had taken off that itchy dressings). The cool evening air felt nice on the unwrapped injury, much better than sweating under them 24/7. The estate kept few Windows open allowing a nice evening breeze. You heard quiet speaking from down the left hall, making you curious. Slowly making your way down the hall you stopped at an slight ajar door, candle light peaking out just barely.

Pushing the door open you started at the young boy and his sister. "Shouldn't you be sleeping?" You asked with a raised brow. Tanjirou jumped, eyes wide and scared. He began to stumble over his words as he rushed out excuses. You dropped the serious facade and gently laughed. "I'm only joking with you, take it easy." Tanjirou exhaled greatly, slumping in relief. You stepped fully in the room, closing the door behind you. "Visiting your sister I see." You motioned to the small child demon, who looked at you with full wonder. "A-ah, yes. It's the only time I get to see her."

You started back at the small child, keeping eye contact with her. Tanjirou sweat dropped nervously, your gaze seemed cold compared to Nezuko's wonder. "Cute." You suddenly said dropping a hand on the top of her head and patting gently. "You seem kind." Tanjirou blurted, slapping a hand over his mouth. You blinked at him in suprise. "Well then, I haven't heart that one ever." It was now Tankirou's turn to blink in suprise. Never heard that you seemed kind? Huh?

You jumped ever so slightly at the sudden feeling of arms aroun you. Looking down the small demon nuzzled herself into your stomach, happily sitting on your lap. "Nezuko! You can't just hug people!" Tanjirou cried out waving his hands wildly. You smiled fondly, wrapping your arms around the small girl in return. "It's alright. It's refreshing to have someone so comfortable around me."

Hashira

Of course you met a few of them when you had taken the position as Ice Hashira. A special breathing passed down in your family. The rest you met when they arrived after you. You felt more inclined to ignore your colleagues than interact, but of course there's the few who forcibly interact with you.

Gyomei was one you definitely had barely even spoken too. There was never a reason you had to spend time around him other than in meeting and the one mission you had gone on together, but nothing had happened. It turned into a simple patrol. The both of you had been entirely silent, except for the few times he mumbled something you couldn't hear. Yet, you still respected him.

Sanemi Shinazugawa. A name that irked you with just the utter of it. The pair of you had never gotten along. You despised his brash harsh nature and he despised your level tempered attitude. Normally you were never one to argue until you had met Sanemi. You could get under his skin with a single look and he's already blown a fuse ready to fight. He's also the tiniest bit jealous that Genya seems to like you.

Rengoku, oh Rengoku. He's one who forcefully made himself comfortable in your presence. Even if you seemed cold he (his words not yours) liked your company. He's boisterous and loud and your quiet and seemingly cold. Most conversations go one sided, him boasting happily about his younger brother whom you learned name was Senjuro, a carbon copy look alike to Rengoku. The very few times you've seen to answer him turns out to be decent conversations. He seems to enjoy being in your presence even if the conversations are one sided. He enjoys knowing that even if you don't seem like it, he knows your listening.

Mitsuri, a sweet girl who seemed to always want to be around you. She likes styling your hair (with permission of course). She likes doing all the intricate styles she's been learning and your (in her opinion) best model. She's one of the 3 who has pulled a smile from you, and she basks in the fact she got one. Most conversations aren't even concerations. She asks if she can style your hair, and with a nod of confirmation, the rest is in pure silence. That is, until she squeals over how cute she thinks you look.

Obanai. His snake definitely terrified you at first, you not having a keen liking to the scaley creature. It always seemed to be glaring at you, along with its owner too. He definitely didn't like you, and liked comparing you to Tomioka. He called the two of you the emotionless duo. You tended to never respond to any of his remarks, always ignoring them as they didn't affect you. That just made him more annoyed with you. You could never pin point what you did to him, so you brushed it off.

Uzui. Ah yes the 'flamboyant' former shinobi. He seemed to like you, typically hanging around you with Rengoku. He likes making jokes to see if you react. To when you don't he stops. You haven't met the wives, but heard them in passing. Rengoku and Uzui tend to sit around with you and converse, they don't mind your short answers or shake of your head when they ask questions. He is a positive beam to be around.

Shinobu was someone you spoke with often. Tending to enjoy her company you visit the butterfly estate on the rare occasion, much preferring to exchange crows for messages instead. She did indeed tease you lightly, but nothing like you had seen her with Tomioka. She liked to, more or less, test you? She'd say something and see how you react. The slightest twitch of irritation in your eye, the smallest tug of your lip in a quick smile. Overall she is more pleasant to be around.

Giyuu and you rarely spoke to one another. Suprising with how you two seemed to often be grouped together when the others spoke about you guys. Now, you had been in each other's presence before yet neither of you said a word. He had a silent respect for you after a mission almost gone wrong. He was a new hashira at the time and was just a slight to reckless and almost gotten himself severely injured if you hadn't been assigned to go with him. It may be a silent respect that he would never mention aloud, but you know it's there.

Muichirou was almost like your shadow. He seemed to have a keen liking to you, typically seen somewhere near you. On a walk, the boy would be next to you. Cloud gazing was an activity he always invited you to do with him. The soft grass like a cushion as you two pointed to the shapes you saw, or just watching the hours pass in the form of moving clouds. He tended to forget what he was doing so you always have to gently remind him. You're like an older sibling to him.

I don’t think it’s possible for gyomei to not catch you before you fall, i mean this man is the strongest. The only way you could possibly fall without him catching you before that would be that he his too mesmerized by you that he lowered his guard.

At the moment you fall he would still go to catch you but he was not as fast as normally so you fell.

And he had a lot of regret and though it was his fault you fell, his fault because he couldn't catch you because he was having impure though

So he pick you up and say :

"Were going to the butterfly estate"

Not letting your feet touch the ground again as he carry you (with only one arm of course)

It would take time to hide your embarrassment and explain to the butterfly estate that gyomei was being over dramatic and that you had nothing.

After this accident when you would take stroll he wouldn’t lower is guard anymore (but still let himself drowning in your cuteness) and would walk as close as he can to you so that the next time he could catch you.
