And Kanae Kocho, the former Flower Hashira and practices Flower Breathing. 🌺

The thing is Insects are very crucial components of many ecosystems, where they perform many important functions. They aerate the soil, pollinate blossoms, and control pests,etc. With that they are very important and essential to the survival of plants and flowers as a whole. 🐞

And with flowers, when they began wilting or dying,they often undergo ,Deadheading, which is regular trimming of plants in the changing seasons. This would help the growing of the new flowers, resulting in healthier plants and continual blooms. Snapping or cutting dead flower heads can enhance the flowering performance of many perennials plants making it a vital process for the growth of plants. 💐

So in a way, insects and old flowers are needed for the survival and continuous growth of the new generation of flowers.

Kanae while having passed away far to early, her presence and kindness left an impact by passing on the Flower Breathing technique to her ensuring her growth and coin which helped her give hope and a chance to be able to make her own decisions again.

Shinobu while being a bit more distant was a continuous guide to her and through her sacrifices ensured that Kano would become an extraordinary Demon Slayer and her own person in a better world, a world without Demons.

Overall, Shinobu and Kanae adopting Kanao and with their teachings along with their sacrifices helped grow Kanao into the person she is today.

I always thought Kanao was such a random choice for Sanemi to give Kaburamaru to and I kind of thought he just dropped him off with the first person he saw lmao but it suddenly occurred to me today that it actually makes PERFECT sense for Kanao to have Kaburamaru omg I might be slow for just having realized this I don’t know if I’m just stating the obvious but

Kanao is totally blind in one eye and has very poor vision in the other at the end of the series. Obanai was also blind in one eye and then was totally blinded in the final battle and Kaburamaru would help him navigate demon attacks you guys Sanemi gave Kanao a service animal 😭
