I feel like the problem with Qibli x Moon is that it Qibli won't really grow with her. Qibli's problem is that he's a people (dragon?) pleaser, he wants to be loved and he will do anything to make people love him. It's especially visible during their confrontation with Winter in Darkness of Dragons. Does Qibli really believe Winter is in the wrong? He must know he has a point, but he will side with Moon anyway.

On the other hand, Winter is not so easily pleased and he will stand for what he believes in. Qinter would allow both of them to overcome their issues and they would inspire each other to grow, while with Moon, he just follows the same harmful pattern.
