The cities are a bit fast, but I can understand not putting hours-long pursuits into a film lol
Now to find out if Stalker Shrike is done well...
The Mortal Engines film is approaching, so it must be time to draw one of the series’ more iconic characters... (Spoiler below the break)

So, I saw the Mortal Engines film
As adaptations go, it’s pretty awesome (although I felt the final third went a little off the rails towards the end), but they got MEDUSA and Shrike SPOT ON
So in celebration, here’s a 6 year old pic of Shrike, everyone’s favorite cyber-revenant*
*there is exactly one acceptable alternative answer - but only those who’ve read the books will know what it is :D
I always hoped that any Mortal Engines film adaptation would be done by Studio Ghibli, what with the airships, and the post-apocalyptic world built on the ruins of an advance civilisation. It’s basically Laputa with the city a little closer to the ground ;)
So, inspired by watching the film last week, here (belatedly) is my attempt at a Ghibli-style Shrike & young Hester
