{I find it useful to carry like 3 dollars in cash in case of an emergency. Funny thing for me is that tend to spend less money with cash than with card. But I agree that you shouldn't carry a large amount of cash if that is how you spend it faster. Just having a few bucks incase you need it is good but that is just in my personal experience. A lots of places in my town don't take cards or charge you extra to use your card.}

My dad is pissed I don’t carry cash on me. Which I don’t for reasons.

Reason 1: I’m fucking in debt. So don’t really have a choice.

Reason 2: I spend it faster. With a card, it takes me THREE DAYS to spend $20. If I had cash? That $20 wouldbe gone in a day.

Reason 3: I get mugged. Granted that is highly Impossible in my town. But still a reason.

My wallet gets stolen and I have $50 cash? Gone forever. Now no cash and just my two cards from the same bank? Call up the bank and cancel the card and get replacements. Still have all my money.

So yeah, I have reasons for not wanting to carry cash. His reason I should carry cash when going to like the Library or taking the dogs for a walk?

What if you pass a gargae sale and want to buy something now you have no cash and can’t get anything. THATS THE FUCKING POINT! SO I DON’T SPEND IT!
