Small fun facts about the new oc!
Their name is [Orchis Hortengea]; the first name comes from the genus in which “Orchidaceae”, a diverse and widespread family of flowering plants and known as the orchid family, comes from with the same name, while their last name comes from a mixture of “hortensia” and “hydrangea”, with the former being another term you can call the latter.
Orchis has pitch-black hair and silver(maybe white? idk, not sure which to go with yet lol) eyes, along with being as pale as a corpse. Though as time passes by and the longer they continue remaining as an undead, their hair will turn completely white and their eyes red.
Orchis resides in Ramshackle dormitory along with the MC and Grim, though it’s mostly due to their circumstances, what with being undead and all. They were revived due to a tiny accident caused by MC, Grim, Ace, and Deuce when they went to go around the Ramshackle dorm looking for the urban legend. One thing led to the other, and they somehow managed to unintentionally bring back someone from the dead~!
As is said in the previous statement, Orchis used to be an urban legend of Night Raven College; I say used to because they’re now undead, though they probably still remain as one since no one besides Crowley, MC, Grim, Ace, and Deuce (also Lilia and Malleus, and Cirnu) knows about them “reviving”.
Due to the fact that Orchis is still technically a corpse, in order to prevent rigor mortis from settling in, Crowley always has them carry a pouch of hydrangea leaves and petals to eat every so often. The petals also serve as a “scent mask” since Orchis has no scent, and thus it might raise suspicions with other students who have a particularly good sense of smell.
Though they can also eat other certain types of poisonous flowers or flowers related to death and such if there are no hortensia flowers nearby; it’s just that the hortensias are the most effective. The plants also function as a way to subside their “hunger for the living” for a while longer.
Orchis is still fairly recently “undead” so they don’t exactly feel the urge to “eat”.... but as time passes, and the longer they go without eating even a single piece of the “living”, then they’ll one day snap and eat anything and everything around them until they’re satiated back into sanity.
Although they know they’re dead, they don’t remember HOW they died, and due to the fact they’ve been dead for a very long time, quite a lot of memories of their past have already faded away.... though, they have a scar on their body, it’s not for certain if they were murdered or got into an incident or whatever.
