MIDORIMA acts like he doesn’t care, but he does when he sees your son pointing at the different shaped blocks and calling them their appropriate names. “sqware! wectangle!” he cheered, distinguishing each block correctly. he pulls out his phone to take a video to show you later, but he plans on buying more complex blocks like rhombuses and diamonds so he can expand his learning. to think his son barley needed assistance to learn each shape makes midorima the most proudest dad ever. he picks up his son and kissed his forehead, “good job, shotaro. you’re growing up well.”

AKASHI has witnessed all milestones, but his favourite one is when your daughter first smiled. you were reading her a book with akashi when you made a funny sound effect to emphasize the story and gave a big smile because it was funny. “honey! she smiled!” you laughed, softly pinching her cheek. “she’s beautiful,” he said, slowly stroking her head. “like you. she looks beautiful just like you, love.” a blush covered your cheeks and you softly kissed his cheekbone, lingering a little bit before parting. nothing but love filled the atmosphere, and in that moment, both of you guys wanted it to last forever.
KUROKO walks in on your son picking up a book from the ground. his sits himself in the middle of the room, using both of his hands to open the book. just as kuroko was going to step in to read it for him, he started to read the words out loud on his own— it wasn’t perfect and there were a lot of mispronunciations, but kuroko’s eyes lit up at his son reading for the first time. he waited for a while before he knocking on the door and picked him up, pecking his cheek. “you can read now,” you smiled, “good job, kai. let’s go show mommy what you read.”
KAGAMI was cooking dinner until he catches your daughter biting on everything she sees. “hey, karina! why do you keep biting everything!” he sets his utensils down and picks her up until she flashes a singular tooth at him. “oh my gosh you’re teething.. y/n!! karina’s teething!!” hearing ruckus from below, you rushed out of the bathroom and looked at the two. “she’s what?” you asked. “look! teeth!” you walked over to your daughter and gasped at the growing tooth. “kagami babe, we’re getting so old.” and you took so many pictures to look back on in the future.
