howdy everyone, because I get political on this account sometimes, a lot of people really don’t like me (I have upset trump groups, pedophiles, sexists, racists, anti-LGBT+ groups, etc), I just wanted to let yall know in advance that people are trying to spread random rumors about me to try and get me to shut down, and I wanted to make things clear about who I really am because I’ve never said it before:
I’m 19, I managed to get popular on tumblr entirely by luck and I’m extremely grateful for it every day
once I suddenly got all of these followers I wanted to use this blog to do everything I could to support LGBT+ groups, people of color, women, and just good people, I have nothing to gain really I just want to make people feel happy and cared about because that’s what makes me happy. I’m not an expert on all social issues but I try my best to make content using the privileges I have, and whenever I make a mistake I will always try to make things right
anyway, please if you can just ignore or report any “callout” posts and threats you see, it would help me out so, so much. Random internet people don’t really know me and I’m sorry I had to make this post
I want yui at Christmas Hcs pls she's so cute give us some fluff
Christmas is one of her favourite times of the year, purely for the snow and nostalgia.
Yui would NEVER buy anything during Christmas, handmade goods only. She'll make jumpers, scarves, socks, badges etc. Her speciality is making small and cute animal figures made of clay.
One year she made a Pusheen figure for her friend and she cried from how endearing it was.
She's been handling Christmas dinner since she was eleven years old. But the first time she cooked, it was only curry beef udon for dinner. But the udon broth was homemade, but was a little salty.
She makes amazing roast potatoes that she only makes on Christmas. Some old lady almost broke into the house to get her recipe.
Yui doesn't really expect any big Christmas gifts since her father would only buy her yarn, fluffy socks, and the most darling little snow globes. She would show her collection of ballerina snow globes with pride and joy.
Her Christmas shopping is just food and art supplies so she can get creative. Yui puts so much thought into everything she does during the holiday so it feels more meaningful.
She used to sing in the choir during the church services, both on Christmas Day and Eve.
While Christmas is more of a lovers' holiday in Japan, Yui still celebrates it as a religious holiday. But she has thought about spending it with a significant other a few times.
Experiments with hot chocolate recipes a lot. At the moment, her go to is spices with some caramel covered hazelnuts. With prettily placed cream at the top with a tiny gingerbread man.
The boys always chug all of that.
She made herself a crocheted tote bag with a big pink heart in the middle, all from watching a YouTube tutorial.
Yui made Carla, Reiji and Ruki crocheted book covers, all with different patterns so hopefully they feel special.
Christmas stockings are her favourite things. Tiny gifts always make her so happy, and she always appreciates the surprise.
The end of the day often makes her sad, because of the fading atmosphere and how all enthusiasm just seemingly evaporates.
Taking the decorations down is the most soul crushing thing in the world for her. Yui is still quite childish at heart, so she gets so excited over the holidays. But gets so crestfallen when they end.
