𝐒𝐇𝐘!𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍 is truly clueless when it comes to love, but not in the way you’d think.

He’s completely aware of his feelings for you, as well as the fact that he loves you strongly, however, he’s just not used to being cared for in such a romantic way.

He’ll kinda stalk you around your own home, hanging around in the entrance of every room you’re in as he builds up the courage to ask for a hug.

“Stop being so shy, Eren,” you teased, flipping a hamburger in the kitchen as he stood in the archway. “If you want something, just ask. It’s just me.”

You happened to be correct and completely wrong at the same time. It was you, true, but that’s exactly why the long-haired man stood there, fidgeting his hands.

“I don’t wanna bother you if you’re busy,” he said.

You were already making his favorite meal for dinner, already kissed his cheek randomly when he was simply sitting on the couch, so what right did he have to ask for a hug too? He was being greedy. Too demanding. Too annoying. He should probably just-

“Come here,” you motioned him over. “You have that look on your face. You’re not bothering me, baby.”

He hesitated, but he walked over, wrapping his arms around you as you turned the stove off and hugged him back.

Now, Eren’s also equally as troubled when you are sad or when you want something, and he can’t figure out what it is.

Therefore, he’s always on Google, searching things such as “signs that your girlfriend is upset” or “how to cheer up your girlfriend” and taking note of everything he sees.

So, you’ll randomly discover little things that he decided to do for you in order to cheer you up, such as buying you your favorite dessert and flowers, or watching your favorite movie with you but pretending it’s his idea, all so you don’t feel guilty for making him sit through it.

Not only is he using that phone of his to search up things, but he also jots down little things he notices about you in his notes app, such as your favorite brand of bread or reminding himself to go back to the jewelry store and buy you that necklace you were staring at.

All in all, love is new and strange to the shy man, but he’s doing a great job without even realizing it.
