I hate that this era in his life was never explored. I want to read about him struggling. Struggling with depression and PTSD. Having issues getting in any sort of relationship(s), going outside and facing the world, constantly thinking about all the lives that were lost, etc. I want it to get ugly and scary with everything he felt after the war ended.
