Shikamaru: ... Temari?
Temari: What's up?
Shikamaru: Do you ever get the feeling that... Shikadai's growing too fast?
Temari: What makes you think he is?
Shikamaru: He's only three... and he's counting to ten and saying the alphabet... he's colour coding his toys even
Temari: ... I think he's growing at the right pace, his own pace. Every kid is different. Some kids don't walk until they're 2, some kids are standing before they're 1. Hell, Gaara didn't lose his last baby tooth until he was fourteen. But they all moved at their own pace.
Shikamaru: ... it feels too fast...
Temari: For us, it is. That's why we have to cherish all these young moments we have. We only get them once
Shikamaru: Yeah... we do. Thanks, Temari
