Narumitsu Week 2019 - Tumblr Posts

Narumitsu week 2019 is coming up fast! It’s our fifth year! 

     Our theme this year is inspired by art from the wonderful madamelenny on our Discord! Thank you so much!

      Alongside our Tumblr, where the week will run as normal, we also have a Twitter! Submissions via Twitter must be posted with the hashtag #nmweek19 , and all submissions via Tumblr must be posted with the tag nmweek19. 

     Remember, if you forget to tag your post the first time, then go back and edit it in, it will not appear in the main tag when I go to search for posts. You’ll have to give it to me manually. Please remember I NEVER intentionally skip over any submission. 

Anyway, here’s our themes for the week!

1. Beginnings - This day will be devoted to Phoenix and Edgeworth before the trilogy. Summer breaks, college days, playing together in elementary, and just what WAS in Phoenix’s letters? 

2. Feelings - Emotions can be a tricky thing, especially for Phoenix and Edgeworth. What are ways they express their emotions? This can be things such as confessions, how the two ask for comfort when sad or how they celebrate, ect. 

 3. Free Day - As is every year, Narumitsu Day is a free day! 

 4. Chains - You can take this day metaphorically or literally. It refers to the golden chains, but it also refers to what those chains represent– a supernatural, almost spiritual connection between two people, bounded together by an invisible force. 

 5. Rings - Another literal/metaphorical day. It’s inspired by the rings, but also represents a bond forged through challenges and tribulations, as a ring is forged through the heat of fire. Trust and love built over years of effort. You could also do a literal spin on this theme and do a wedding, an exhange of promise rings, ect. 

 6. Tragedy - This is the year Phoenix lost his badge. Inspired by this, I’d like to devote a day to the sadder parts of the Ace Attorney series, especially the loss of Phoenix’s badge. 

 7. Domestic - A fan favorite theme of course wouldn’t be missed this year. This day is devoted to Edgeworth and Phoenix finding and building a home and family. 

 8. Beyond the End - Devoted to content beyond the serie’s timespan. This can be Edgeworth and Phoenix as an older couple. This day can also be used for anything you deem fitting as an ‘end’ or a 'finale’ to something.

We will also have extra prompts and challenges to be announced later! Keep an eye out for that! (Also, please be patient as I find out how twitter works.) As always, Narumitsu Week is from july 1st to the 8th. The admins and moderators are here to answer any questions or take in any suggestions. We’ve only got two months until the fated week, and I’ll send out occasional reminders. Also, message me if you want to host your own event during the week!
