National Couple's Day - Tumblr Posts

Today's a very special day. Happy National Girlfriend Day to my lovely girlfriend!!

She and I have pretty different love languages. I like to hide myself and my loved ones away from the rest of the world. It's my way of keeping them safe. Her way of showing love is to post things, to be big and bright and show the world that she's here and she's in love. She makes posts every time she thinks of me, on every anniversary, every holiday, and every birthday.

I never post about us, I'll be honest. This will be my third ever post about her. However, today isn't just about one way of expressing things- Today is for both our love languages, so I'll give it a shot.

Thank you for a wonderful year, dahlia. A year with the gal who doesn't care that I'm aromantic and don't feel love easily. Who isn't afraid when I shut myself out, who encourages me to walk in the sun with her. A year lifting her up in good moments and bad. A year of writing countless letters for her. A year of singing for her almost every night because she likes my voice.

I'm not the best with quick doodles, but she loves cats, so I thought I'd do this.
