In my former universe, The Fates governed the future by employing Threads—supernatural creatures unbound by time who could manipulate situations to ensure the proper outcomes were achieved. Miko Ojo was one such creature (before she was crushing on Akira and being a social justice worker of course). 

JK! Even in my old universe, Miko and Akira had a toxic relationship! And Miko’s directive to meddle caused multiple apocalypses. 

Nowadays, Miko lives in Newcrest with her grandmother and her mother, although her mother's presence is intermittent. She disappears for days on end and returns strung out. Miko was pretty much raised by her grandmother, which required her to be independent and now she can’t quite turn it off.

Miko is one of the top students in the MFA program at Britechester. Her paintings are technically brilliant, but she struggles with taking the kind of risks that would make them truly groundbreaking. It's an insecurity that haunts her. As does the voice in her head telling her she’s no good and she’ll never amount to anything, she’ll never succeed, she’ll never—

Miko goes quiet when she looks at a piece of art and tries to figure out what makes it work. What will she do after graduation? Succeed—no matter what it costs.

Rosebury Street

Rosebury Street is a comfortable family home counting four stories, including a basement and renovated attic. A driveway to the right of the house leads to a detached garage. The two upper floors both have balconies running the full width of the house, looking out over the lush, colourful back garden that features two separate patios. The house currently has three bedrooms and is thus best suited for a family of four Sims, but there are a number of rooms (including the home office, the art studio in the attic, and even the basement) that could easily be turned into spare bedrooms with a little bit of redecorating.

Wellington Terrace

Wellington Terrace is an elegant, modernly decorated townhouse counting no less than five stories, including a fully furnished basement and a spacious attic that could easily be converted into a third bedroom. Apart from a gym and sauna, the basement also features a home office with a separate entrance from the street. Having been built on a relatively small lot, the house doesn't have a lot of outdoor space, but there is a patio with a dining area and barbecue.

Apparently, summer in Newcrest means rain pretty much 24/7. I had no idea because I damn near never play this ‘hood, but it turned out to be surprisingly peaceful.

Until I stumbled upon a old lady eating fruit in the park during a thunderstorm for some reason?? Rando angry Scout was NOT impressed by her fruit or her life choices. GO HOME GRANDMA.

Just finished decorating this very blue little house for a sweet elderly couple and their 3 cats (soon to be more one of them is expecting)!

I love their cute little house and their cute little faces <3

SQUEEEEEE BABY KITTIES I have so many cats in my game right now, sheesh. These are Alice and Henry’s kittens that were just born.
