A/n! Never wrote a timestamp cause I just figured out what they are and I haven't written in awhile so sorry if this is ass, whole first paragraph did not need to be added but I thought it was cute :,)

RIKI MAY NOT KNOW A LOT but he knows he loves you. Every time he opens his phone and sees his wallpaper and looks back at your pretty smile, he feels his heart swell in adoration. Every time you surprise him with ice cream at their dorms, Riki swears he’s gonna melt. Whenever he’s walking around and sees something-anything that reminds him of you he has to bite back a smile. Typically, on a normal day Riki doesn’t care about how he looks, but when he knows he’s going to see you all of a sudden he’s asking Jay “Does this shirt go with these pants?” and pulling up pinterest to find an outfit that he would be worthy enough for your eyes to see. Whenever he’s eating food and thinks you’ll like it he buys another for you. Whenever he’s not with you he’s thinking about you. He’s comfortable to share his burdens with you and to be there for you for your own problems. He does all this because he loves you and he knows you love him too.
Riki knows you will always be there to listen to whatever he says. So why is it so hard for him to tell you everything he thinks about you? How come he can’t tell you that he knows he could never get sick of you and he would relive going through I-land again if it means he gets to be with you? He tried to tell you these things once but he ended up blushing and hiding his face in your neck, refusing to elaborate further telling you, “Wow you really wanna know what I have to say. You’re so obsessed with me, that’s fan behavior.” evading the topic at hand.
Because of that occurrence, Riki now resorts to telling you at the dead of night when you’re sound asleep in Japanese (in case you’re secretly awake) every night. Just like right now, you’re curled up against his chest and he’s smoothing down your hair while looking down at you with pure love in his eyes. Whispering softly, “I hope you know I love you so much that there’s no way a romance book or movie could ever replicate. It’s so crazy that I could love a single person so much. I don’t think we’d ever break up but even if you decide to break up with me, I’m so happy to have even an opportunity to be loved by you. I think that’s the best feeling, knowing you love me. It’s so reassuring. So matter how much hate I get, no matter how I feel about myself, I know you love me. And that’s all that matters at the end of the day. I promise you I will try my best to make sure you loving me is worth it. Good night, love. I love you.
Side note: He definitely says "pretty" or something like that while looking at you in Japanese so you can't tease him
