It may sound silly, but..

Am I the only one, who noticed some similarities between Nimona and Agatha Prenderghast?

Both are the little girls, who were labelled as a monster/witch by society due to their abilities: Nimona shape-shifts and Agatha could talk to the spirits (Yeah, I know, Nimona isn’t actually a girl..she’s Nimona, but still).

2. There was only one person in their lives, who treated them with kindness and compassion (For Nimona it was Gloreth..before her betrayal😭 // Aggie’s mother).

3. Their vengeful attitude towards humanity for how they were treated.

4. Despite being small, their backstory scenes left a huge impact on the viewers..

5. Same energy😥

6. Their “monster forms”…They look nefarious on the outside, but filled with pain and sorrow on the inside..

7. They both got a happy ending🥹✨

Nimona was stopped from taking her own life by Ballister. // Agatha rested in peace after being reassured by (Para)Norman that just because someone treated her badly doesn’t mean all people are bad.

Is that a “Little Nightmares 2” reference?

One thing I like about Nimona’s first appearance in the movie, is that her decision to become Ballister’s sidekick is basically an allusion to Netflix’s decision to finish the work Blue Sky started.

I mean, look: the citizens, who called Bal a murderer and a monster after Queen’s death, resemble Disney, who shut down the Blue Sky Studios and rejected Nimona movie, while Netflix saw the concept and said: “He’s perfect!”
