Obey Me! Brothers handling a child!MC with self-aggression issues!

note: this is self-indulgent, i was a child with self-aggression issues, and still suffer with them to this day. what normally triggered my issues, or "outbursts" was being stressed or overwhelmed along with loud noises, like yelling. so this child!mc is based off of me as a kid, and i normally just clawed myself to hell and back or pulled my hair out.

warnings: mentions of self-harm, self-mutilation, mental issues (anger issues & self-aggression)

note: belphie was locked in the attic, but we don't mention lesson 16.

Lucifer

Honestly, knew nothing about self-aggression issues. He had dealt with Satan’s anger issues, but didn’t know if this was the same thing or not.

Found out it was the exact opposite of each other. That Satan’s anger issues led to loud and destructive outbursts. And that the human’s self-aggression issues lead to quiet outbursts of silent crying and mutilation of the body.

Lucifer was quite confused on how to approach this, he saw small scars of the former incidents, wondering why this child’s parents never cared enough to help them.

Turns out the child’s parents just didn’t care, and never really noticed and made this poor child feel like it was normal.

Lucifer would keep an eye on child!MC especially when it came to his brother’s yelling too loudly, and he would try to be a tad bit more gentle when it came to lecturing and scolding them to not ensue their self-aggression.

Whenever he would find it, he would grab their hands as gently as possible to get them out of their episode, gently comforting them and then informing them that it wasn’t normal to hurt oneself.

Tries to help them out of the habit, which helps for the most part, but the scars and trauma are still there.

Mammon

This man knew the problems of self-aggression, he even had problems with it himself, normally after a bout of bullying from his brothers, he hid himself in his room to privacy with his issues.

Knew exactly how to help this kid go through their issues with self-aggression. Not scolding or lecturing about the issue, but working with them. Finding out what’s wrong, and how to prevent it from happening again.

Main brother to help this kid out with their problems, doesn’t panic or freak out about it either just deals with it and work them through it.

Makes sure the kid is out of earshot and even bought the kid noise canceling headphones to block out the chaos of him and his brothers.

Always made sure to check on the kid as often as possible, making sure they weren’t stressed or overwhelmed.

Never left the child!MC alone unless they were with one of his brothers.

Leviathan

Freaked out when he found child!MC on the floor of their room clawing themselves.

Did not know what to do himself, so went to Satan or Lucifer. Neither knew what to do so just went to Mammon.

Watched as Mammon calmed the child.

Levi tried to keep calm around the child, he had self-worth problems, but knew they didn’t match up with this kids issues.

What was this kid? 7-8 years old?

How much stuff had this child gone through to cause this much damage?

Found out that child!MC liked to hide in Levi’s room when things were getting loud downstairs, he was normally quiet while playing games despite the occasional groan from losing.

Apparently the kid found it comforting to just watch him play and listening to the clicks on his controller or keyboard.

Would sometimes play with him to keep calm and ignore the chaos since his room was mainly soundproof because Asmodeus couldn’t take hearing him at night anymore.

Satan

Almost thought he was looking at a younger version of himself, just opposite outbursts.

Levi brought the child to his attention. He didn’t know what to do, so he ended up going to Mammon (secretly knowing about the second-eldest’s habit).

After that, he tried to read up on the problems the child was having, and found barely anything about it at all.

Like it was barely even noticeable besides being called a form of self-harm.

Satan almost got angry he couldn’t find anything about the issue in his books.

Satan noticed his outbursts caused this child to have their own outbursts.

Didn’t stay around the child often, in worry he’ll set off their problems.

One time when he was left alone with child!MC, he was reading in the library while they were sitting in the chair in the library reading something as well.

He noticed the kid seemed tense and kept scratching at an old wound, almost opening it back up before he grabbed their hand.

Satan sternly told them not to do that. He thought he had almost stressed the kid out and almost caused them to have an outburst.

Apparently it was something from earlier in the day at RAD, Mammon asked Beel to keep an eye on them because Lucifer called him for something and Beel left them alone in an empty classroom by accident.

They seemed to be trying to read as a distraction to only cause more them to be more stressed because they couldn’t focus.

Satan ended up taking the book and setting the kid next to him, reading to them where they left off.

Found out Satan’s reading voice was soothing, especially when they were stressed, didn’t help much with being overwhelmed, but that was Mammon’s territory.

Asmodeus

Asmodeus loved kids for the most part, just not kid’s like Satan.

Found out quickly that he could overwhelm the kid just by talking too much to them by accident.

Didn’t even notice until he found the kid digging their tiny nails into their scalp while covering their ears.

Was not allowed alone with them for a while because Asmodeus panicked and didn’t know what to do and ended up stressing the kid out.

Had to be talked to, scolded, by Lucifer about coming to get someone immediately if he didn’t know how to deal with it, not panic and leave it to get worse.

Always was tasked with doing their nails to make them less dangerous, by rounding them off or shortening them, or fixing them when the kid bites them so hard to cause them to crack.

Always got someone else when an outburst came on, never learned from the others how to deal with it.

Beelzebub

First time it happened, Beel just picked the kid up from the underarms and kept the kid's hands and arms in front of them to stop them from harming themselves.

Kept them like that until they wore themselves out and ended up giving up from trying to escape from his large arms.

Everytime he found child!MC doing it, he’d just pick them and hold them or hug them to stop them from trying.

Found out they will cling to him after a while, or stay near him since he’s the most silent of the brothers.

Normally grabs child!MC, when he thinks they are going to get too stressed or overwhelmed, normally takes them to their room, or to his and Belphie’s room.

Belphegor

child!MC was a bit comfortable around Belphie. He normally just slept most of the time, and he was mainly quiet when he was awake.

Belphie was old around the kid often when Beel brought them into their room to escape the other’s chaos.

When he can’t talk to child!MC to calm them down in an outburst, he uses his ability to put them to sleep to calm them down.

Ends up using it often as an excuse to cuddle with the child and keep them away from his brothers. 

Belphie found out that child!MC liked his presence, the kid was always wandering near him if they weren’t with Mammon, Beel, or Lucifer.

Originally thought their problems were similar to anger issues, like Satan.

Only helped calm the kid down, never tried to help fix the problem like his other brothers.
