it's been a hot second since i drew my alien bug guy (it took me a solid week because i got... distracted. Look under the cut if you're interested in that)

Trym is a larva on their ninth molt and is a citizen of Slerpo-7 (one of nine Slerpo planets). It came to earth on assignment to spread eggs and has had a rather difficult time doing so.

Not mentioned in my notes is that Slerpnings in phase two (after they emerge from their second pupa stage) can turn into their fly form from phase one at will. Also Slerpnings communicate telepathically, only choosing to speak verbally when talking to other species (who find telepathy invasive) or in high stress situations.
