I've always enjoyed infected paulkins cuz there's just inherent horror in it, in them being dead and ending up together and being sickeningly romantic. Paul in Inevitable behaves more romantically towards Emma than he does at any point in the show, kissing her hands and dancing with her, holding her close because he just wants to when pretty much every other time he's had his hands on her in the show it's because he's afraid and/or trying to keep her safe. I fully believe an infected Emma would behave similarly towards him, their tentative mutual crush amped up to eleven and causing these people who barely knew each other to be so horribly, hollowly in love. it's a promise for happiness fulfilled by Pokey, overly performed to mock the corpses he's puppeting

thinking about the fact that the mark heathcliff case was probably thatcher’s first big case after being promoted to lieutenant, right after he promised the people of mandela to do right by them and he instantly fails at that promise. how often do you think mark’s words about no one coming to save him, not even the police plague his mind ? how often do you think he stays up just replaying how things could’ve been different. thinking about the fact that he can’t even properly grieve ruth because if he lets himself feel all those emotions then who’s going to look out for the people ? thinking about the fact that ruth and him probably went through training together, two people who just want to help the citizens of mandela because they’ve grown up surrounded by fear not realizing the horrors that await them. how often do you think he just stares at sarah’s grief filled emails thinking if he had done something sooner this poor girl would still have her brother ? the fact he must feel so much resentment and guilt for joining a police force who refuses to help those affected by alternates.

I would love to see more done with the fact that unlike the other heroes, Warriors has none of that general quest experience.
Oh he’s fought monsters alright, he’s got experience in commanding troops and planning battle strategies that the others lack, but he’s never done a proper dungeon, he’s never had to do a fetch quest, he’s never even had to climb death mountain or deal with the water temple shenanigans!
I simply think it would be fun to watch all of the others (during the war or with the Chain) talking about similarities between their quests and all the weird, dangerous crap they’ve had to do and then there’s just Wars on the side being totally flabbergasted.
