Of all the symbolic names in Disco Elysium, "Nix Gottlieb" hits hardest. He's the medic or "lazareth" (Lazarus+Nazareth) of Station 41, he demonstrably doesn't give a shit if you live or die, and his name literally means "God doesn't love you".
