Holiday pet portraits are now closed! In order to get portraits done and mailed before Christmas, I’ve had to limit my queue this year. But I still have some prints and other items available in my shop. Thank you to everyone who had ordered something from me this year! You make it possible for me to do what I love.

A little something I made for my best friend in AJ paint. It’s a photo of his dog.

This is the version from animal jam, including WIPs. I later went into Procreate to do touchups with the lasso tool lol. My AJ username is Moonstar1278, which was also my old instagram username.

This is from After using the lasso in procreate. Overall this is the worst digital paint tool i have ever used, but still better than I expected. They added layers which helped, what didn’t help was the LAG, and the lack of apple pencil compatibility (no pressure/tilt sensitivity). But, I would have been shocked if they DID have Apple Pencil compatibility.

I added my signature in procreate just in case AJ considers signatures personal info.

Drew my dog I have IRL!!

Her name is Jessie, a grey(?)hound/blue heeler/border collie lurcher mix, and she's a super sweet, rambunctious, and energetic girl who has an aloof and finicky side when it comes to strangers and stranger dogs (esp males)

but when you get to know her she absolutely LOVES attention and other people (she gives out really adorable hugs and snuggles) and she makes really funny noises when she barks sometimes since she's part hound dog

She also has the tenancy to get jealous of other dogs when they receive attention instead of her, so if you pet another dog in front of her, she will not stop yapping her head off at you the whole time

And never let her outside without a lease or cord to keep her in one spot in our yard since she will book it for at least an hour before she decides to come back

All in all, she is a chaotic worm dog that seems to have a secret human form she chooses to hide from us at all times!

Do you do commissions?

Here's my general commission info. At the moment they are CLOSED. I've been in an art funk for awhile and haven't been making my best work so commissions are on pause.

If you are interested in a commission,  please read below for general pricing info. I mainly draw cats but I am up for doing other pets as well. Some I’ve been commissioned to draw are snakes, hedgehogs, dogs, frogs and rabbits. Each portrait is unique and priced slightly differently depending on the amount of detail in the portrait. I can give a proper quote once I see the reference image you had in mind. COMMISSION INFO: Prices are in USD. Portraits are delivered as a digital file only, but you can print it if you’d like!  Headshot Portrait: $95  Any additional headshot can be added to the same illustration for $85.   Full Body Portrait: $150  Any additional full body cat can be added to the same illustration for $130 Detailed background may be added for additional $20-40 depending on detail. This includes any items or furniture your pet might be interacting with.  Simple colored background is the free default.  Price for portraits of 3+ cats can be negotiated depending on the reference image.  Custom art, (cats not drawn exactly from photo reference) will be an additional cost depending on what you’d like. Different pets like snakes, birds and fish price differently so send me the reference and we can discuss the price.  At this time, I will not be accepting commissions that include people in them. Hands and arms in a portrait are fine, but I don’t like to add any faces. If you’re unsure about a certain ref image that has a person in it, just ask.  Payment can be made via PayPal or Venmo. Thanks for reading through this, if you have any questions, I’d love to answer them.  When you are ready please reply with your reference image and I’ll get back to you with a quote. Portraits may take a few weeks to get back to you due to the volume of commissions I’ve received recently. If there is a specific date you need the portrait for, please let me know right away.
