It was 1 am for me when I played this part and let me tell you, this was so goddamn sad and depressing for a submas fan. I have so many questions to the people at Gamefreak, especially to those who decided that this plot for Ingo was a good decision.
Why, Gamefreak? Not enough angst in Pokemon franchise?

The ones where he talks about Chandelure are not mine and taken from AbdallahSmash026 stream, because I was so stunned when Ingo started speaking that I forgot to screenshot them.
This words hurt me so bad. But the very last one... Man, if the first ones had me shocked and teared up, then the "family" one broke the damb, so to say. Mostly because at that moment I already knew, that he is not coming back to his time 90%... Which means he does not return to his family, to Emmet and their pokemon.
Another thing that was making it even more depressing, is the simple line in Pokemon Masters, where Emmet states that he looks up to his big bro. ( I know that this is just a gacha game and hardly can be considered a canon in any way or form, but I believe that some things that the characters say in it IS canon, because, c'mon) And now... yeah.
Also, there was a moment where I was like "okay, compose yourself, you can not do anything about all that, only hope for the best" and then the Gear Station Theme started blasting and I was on the floor crying again.
I haven't finished the game yet, so maybe I'm wrong and he does return to his time. But since I catched some spoilers about post game, I doubt it very very much.
