She kept doing things that got me scolded and locked up, and then I had to start doing the same to her..." She hugged herself, realizing what had happened. "I promised myself I'd never become my mother, and then I did... I did the same thing to the poor girl.. and the solver took her over because she was alone and scared... She probably saw it as the only way to save all of us.." She looked down at her hands, "and... I disobeyed her... and I went to the gala... she was going to spare me and you and J... she was... and then..." Tessa started crying a lot, finally realizing it was probably her fault. "She adored me... she saw me as her big sister... and I let her down, and then she turned into a monster.... this is all my fault."
