Posting Mainly Cause Idk If Its Like This For You But Sometimes When I Get Asks Answered Privately I Cant Access Them - Tumblr Posts
I have a potentially strange question about a problem I'm having, if you don't mind... as a tulpamancy system, are headaches during forcing a problem people have or a is it sign that I'm Doing It Wrong?
Id say it likely depends on the person. Head pressure ( tightness in the head as best I can describe, akin to the start of a headache in some cases ) is normal, headaches maybe too, but it’s also potentially a sign of pushing a little hard. Just don’t panic, take it easy and keep in mind your ( and any potential or future headmates’ ) limits. Your tendancy to be or to not be headache prone may play a factor. This is in fact trying to train your brain to do something it’s not used to, so some reactions like this can be expected
I often find any headaches or head pressure during trying to parallel process. This is training the brain to think for two people instead of one by focusing on different things, either letting them front once they’re used to it and just sorta watching or trying to purposefully concentrate on one thing for both ( 2 as it’s you only do for sake of things going more smooth )
This is natural, the head pressure, least for us. However it takes time to develop things, depending on how prone you are to headaches, or may be a good sign to let the brain rest for a while. You can always come back to it, long as you keep in mind repetition is key. You dont always have to have long forcing sessions if you start to get tired or have headaches, just try your best to do what you can, and keep any headmates you’re helping ( our way of saying for helping develop / working on sentience and “bringing over” into this reality ) in mind ( as in that they’re there ) as much as possible and things should work out
Overall, if anyone knows how your body reacts to things, it’ll be you and anyone else in the body for a longer time. Again, it’s okay to have head pressures but full on headaches aren’t always good, depending on how often you get them or not. Head pressure is often a sign that things are working actually, but also keep in mind that it’s just that, a common sign, not a promise. Best I can reccomend is take it easy, give it time and dedication in repetition ( to whatever degree is healthiest for you ) and keep your headmate in mind as much as possible ( passive forcing )
I hope this helps and is understandable! I’m not always good at talking and no expert but I can share some things that I encountered while trying to work things out and am open to talk most times, as well as suggest sources that worked for me - 🦋
