Curly Shepard hc
He has a skateboard board that he absolutely loves to use but he has broken his nose like six times cause he was going to fast and fell off face first.
He refuses to go anywhere if his mom or stepfather ask him to go.
None of the Shepard siblings like there stepfather. They all think he's a little bitch and will tell him that to his face.
Curly and Angela have the same father but both were completely accidental. Neither where planned and their mother and father were not together at any point in time.
Tim wasn't planned either but their mother was at least dating Tim's father.
Curly has broken many bones and all were for stupid reasons.
Curly once was playing war with Pony and to everyone's shock Ponyboy broke Curly's arm accidentally of course and Ponyboy was almost in tears trying to apologize.
When Curly was about three there mother got with a really abusive boyfriend that hated when curly cried. So anytime Curly would cry the boyfriend would knock Curly out and lock him in his and Angela's room.
Curly got many concussions from this to the point to where both Tim and Angela are both concerned about whether it had any lasting effects or if the Curly they had was always supposed to be like he is.
When Curly is missing Ponyboy he'll look at the cigarette burn on his hand and smile.
Curly and Ponyboy both have multiple other cigarette burns on them form playing chicken before Tim caught them that one time.
i know this is in multiple other head cannons but i love the idea of them being each other's first kiss. Like one day Curly and Ponyboy were hanging out and suddenly Ponyboy would ask Curly if he had had his first kiss and Curly saying no glancing over at Ponyboy and asking if he had kissed anyone witch leads to them practicing on each other. An suddenly it's something they do every time they see each other ""just in case"" even though they never kiss anyone else.
Curly has a snake tattoo on his hip and a tattoo on his lower back that says shepherd. His favorite tattoo though is the star on his left shoulder blade it only an inch or so but he convinced Ponyboy to do it and it is his pride and joy.
The most “boys will be boys” things the gang do
• Steve, Soda, Dally, and Darry stay walking around half naked, ESPECIALLY in the summer. Their shirts are never on. Soda’s jeans are unzipped half the time smh
• as much as they really really try, the Curtis boys are known for leaving their dirty laundry everywhere 😟 no matter how messy they can be though, Two-Bit’s room will always be exponentially worse
• one time Steve and Soda wanted to see who could eat the most chocolate cake so they each ate a whole half of a cake and threw up later
• Johnny do not be washing his clothes 😭😭😭 it’s rly not his fault but Darry will offer to wash up some of his stuff with Ponyboy’s and Johnny will be like “no thank you it’s not that bad 🙂” bros jean jacket probably carries the plague
• they literally don’t stop eating. It’s canon that the Curtis brothers all have big appetites, everyone else is just as bad. Most of their money goes to groceries bc they literally just eat and eat
• Ponyboy tries to lay in bed directly after track practice before showering bc he’s tired and Sodapop is appalled
• so so so many wrestling and football injuries. Pony’s always tripping and falling face first. Steve is a fucking pincher when they’re wrestling so Soda and Two-Bit always have little ass bruises on them from him 💀 during football Johnny is really good at slipping between people bc he can be pretty quick but one time he managed to take Steve down with him and they knocked their heads together
• Dally unfortunately enjoys driving around and yelling obscenities when he has Buck’s car. No one is off limits. He’ll trail behind Johnny and be like “ay what that mouth do” and Johnny just lets out the most defeated sigh
• Ponyboy and Curly were each other’s first kiss “for practice” and didn’t rly think much of it until they realized they’d only been kissing each other even tho they didn’t need practice anymore and never tried to get w anyone else 😭😭😭
• if Two-Bit sees any kind of animal worth catching in his mind like an armadillo or some shit he will indeed try to catch it and bring it to the Curtis house and Darry is just like if you don’t get that damn armadillo off my porch

ponyboy curtis headcanons
- cannot smile ‘properly.’ anytime he tries to force a smile he’s like 😬
- eyesight or hearing is probably horrendous since he’s always getting his shit rocked
- the kid who’s always wearing hoodie/pants in summer and shorts and a t-shirt in winter
- a biter.
- didn’t know how to swim until he got drowned, then finally taught himself 💔
- goes ALL out for halloween. went with curly one year and probably dyed his hair/gave himself piercings solely for the costume
- his dad taught him how to play acoustic guitar— which he still has and plays
- it’s probably all busted up. like one of the strings is a shoelace
- insomniac, has to take copious amounts of melatonin to sleep.
- on the topic of sleep, he sleeps like he’s fucking dead. sodapop takes up all the room in the bed (STARFISHES) so he stays in the same position all night
- one time somebody thought my friend was dead when he was asleep because he was cold to the touch. this has likely happened to ponyboy at LEAST once
- listens to all genres of music EXCEPT country. everytime darry turns on country music he wants to bash his head against the wall
- so so accident prone. will break his leg and be like ‘whatever,’ neglects to tell anybody this information and thugs it out
- anytime him and curly have any free time, they drive as far as they possibly can before they break curfew
- ponyboy’s in track (canon) and sometimes he goes to a track meet and forgets to tell anybody so everybody thinks he’s missing
- they all go on a road trip to find him
If Curly was in that class where Ponyboy pulled out his knife to dissect a frog he would have fallen in love immediately.
