Ranne is literally my whole life I love Ranne so much.
sometimes I forget who powerful Ranne is in the story.
Like, Winter is such a powerful idea. It’s indomitable and so is Ranne. They hold so much powerful in their hands.
Mortals fear them out of angering Ranne while some mortals, otherwise known as patrons, love Ranne and want to have a taste of their power.
Yet Ranne cares in the sense that if someone’s does something they don’t like or someone does something offensive, that person is dead lmfao. But if you’re giving Ranne strawberries, you get a pass and maybe some cool stuff like a sword.
Ranne literally has so much blood on their hands and whenever I think about this I think of the line in Macbeth, “Seas Incarnidine”. I can’t remember the whole quote.

going on a little trip rn. Hopefully this will get rid of my burnout and I’ll be able to work on Ranne’s story more.
got some requests (you know who you are) so my plan is to work on the summer god, Cymbeline, and a sea titan. That’s the plan but I’m going with the flow currently.
I love drawing vultures. oh yeah Ranne has a giant vulture pet guy that delivers messages for them. and maybe a harpy eagle too.

So like. Punicae is a minor goddess of fruits and stuff right? She's a sweetheart, so I'm assuming she takes super good care of her realm - which means everything that bears fruit is extra delicious.
Do we think that Ranne ever visits solely to get some A grade strawberries? Or does she arrange for the strawberries to be sent to them? Do they stop by all serious and grumpy, or is Ranne a lil bit awkward for asking for strawberries? 👀
I like to think Ranne switches between visiting Punicae and having strawberries delivered. During the colder months when Ranne is flourishing, they make the trek out to visit Punicae (don’t want her to freeze). I like to think they crouch and watch Punicae like an owl looking at a foreign object.
