I'm not sure. I haven't had coffee in... a couple weeks. But before that, I either drank black coffee strong enough to bring a dead horse back to life, or S's special blend.

what is the meaning behind your blog name and theme?

I... grew up in a small village in the countryside, surrounded by the woods. I used to spend many hours there, often with my father. But after leaving the village as a child, I barely ever spent any time outside larger cities, until I moved in with S this summer.

It's... nice, to be back. Even if this forest is different from the one I remember from my childhood, it still sort of... grounds me. I think it helps to be close to nature, when I try to... stay tethered.

...Well, there's that, and... It's a pretty stupid thing, but... S's last name is Greenwood. I suppose a part of me was hoping...

...My name means "beloved saviour", actually. Incredibly ironic, as both my mother and father have repressed all their memories of me, which seems an unlikely fate for someone who's supposedly named after how loved they are. But here we are, now.

Even if I will never live up to the original meaning of my name, maybe it could be repurposed into something new and meaningful. Named after what I treasure, rather than after my parents' shattered hopes of what I'd become.

...I'm... glad I'm around too, but it's anyone's guess how well it will work out in the long run. Trying my best to improve lives rather than ruin them, which is... a challenge.

Hello! Yes, I do in fact live in the woods.

There are too many plants around here to choose only one as my favourite, really. Wouldn't be fair to the rest of 'em if I only chose one, would it? As for balls, I can't say I throw them very often. I'm more of a stick kinda guy.

Say, you have a fairly complicated name. Must be tricky to say it, yeah? Do you have any other names we could use instead? :)

What are you doing right now?

Trying to convince someone that arson isn't a healthy coping mechanism.

What is a place you would like to visit?

...The village I grew up in. I haven't been back there in twenty years.

As a rule, I try to stay away from my home country if I can, but... They probably wouldn't have eyes on that village. They'd need to dig deeply enough to tie together some ends that were separated and thrown to the sharks a long time ago, and to date, very few have managed to do that.

So... Maybe I'll visit someday. I might even bring Soregina, if it seems safe.

favourite season?

I... feel as though I've answered this before... But perhaps that was in another life.

I tend to appreciate the transition from one season to another, or at least, I used to. But... this particular autumn has been... well, eye-opening. So, I think autumn... might forever hold a special place in my heart.

What is the last thing you ate?

Something that should not have been wriggling quite like that.
