Reverse Omens - Tumblr Posts
I cannot explain how much I love them.
The bird on Azazel, the way the end of Jophiel's hair looks like little wings, the expressions, I love it all so much

I can’t
Based off of an amazing reverse omens au by @dotstronaut
“We are completely, utterly, without a doubt, one hundred and ten percent-,”
“There’s no such thing as a hundred and ten percent, my dear boy,” Azira cut in.
“Not with that attitude it doesn’t,” Crowley shot back, throwing Azira’s words back at him. He continued to pace around the plant nursery, hands twisting into his hair. Azira sat a few feet away from him on the couch, fingers twisting the collar of his shirt.
“There- there must be something we can do, Crowley-”
“The Archangels know, Azira! You said they cornered you earlier today, they know about the arrangement! The amount of danger we’re in-” Crowley stopped midway in his panic and glanced out the window. An idea suddenly entered his mind.
He ran over to Azira and gripped him by the shoulder, shouting “Alpha Centauri!” Azira blinked at him in confusion.
“What about Alpha Centurai?”
“Look, you’re a demon yes?”
“My dear, are you quite alright? Is your memory-”
“Look, you’re a demon, I’m an angel.”
“I’m aware,” He said slowly, not liking where the conversation was going.
Crowley sighed, moving his hands from Azira’s shoulders, one hand tilted his chin up, the other cupped his face.
“You can tempt me, you know. I wouldn’t mind.”
Azira stiffened under Crowley’s touch. He stared up at him and bit the inside of his cheek, throat suddenly dry. A sinking feeling formed in his chest and travelled down to his stomach where it poked at the small dinner he ate before coming over. Thankfully Azira managed to keep the food down.
Crowley didn’t know what he was asking. An angel falling for the temptations of a demon…it pained him to even think about it. He refused to entertain the thought.
“W..would you say yes?” Azira croaked, dreading the answer. He had a feeling he knew what Crowley’s response would be. He pleaded with, well, somebody that Crowley wouldn’t say-
“Yes,” Crowley breathed, still hovering over Azira. He felt the demon under him tremble, a shaky sigh escaping his lips. Crowley stared at them, this thumb slowly making its way to Azira’s bottom lip.
He felt hands over him, and for a moment, for a brief second Crowlet’s heart dared to hope, dared to believe that Azira would finally tear down the walls and entertain his ridiculous, poorly thought out, last-minute fantasy.
“Then no. I can’t.”
“Azira-”
Before Crowley could get another word in, Azira sprung up from the couch and raced towards the door, ignoring the angel calling him back. Azira would not and could not be the reason for Crowley’s fall, he refused. Azira would personally see to it that Crowley’s wings remained pure and holy, that he would never have to endure the feeling of burning in a pit of hellfire and brimstone. Of having your heavenly essence torn out while flames greedily licked at anything they could reach.
Inside the shop, Crowley stared at the Azira’s fleeing figure. His throat closed up and his eyes stung, not with sadness, but with frustration. He glanced upstairs, where he knew a certain safe containing hellfire laid hidden in the back of a closet.
Fine. He’d take care of things on Earth then head off to the stars himself. He didn’t need Azira around-
The word “Liar echoed in Crowley’s head.
And in a small apartment in Soho, a demon felt the word “traitor” crawl across his skin
An unofficial rating of the demon!Aziraphales I have seen (not a comprehensive list, obvi, there are so many, but some that have stuck out in my mind).
@speremint’s Azirafell: Dat coat tho. Delightfully evil, a little scary, tasteful splashes of sexy. A hoarder (same). Excellent sh/tpost material. Protective (possessive?) streak and longing denial like woah. 100/10 a perfect specimen
@robofeather’s Azazel: Look at this soft moth boi. What a gorgeous coloration. He’s trying so hard. 11/10 cutie pie cryptid
@wikigiuli’s Azhira: Pure chaotic trickster energy. Does the Owl Thing with his head and it’s horrifying. Traveling bookshop a++++. Nice hat. 13/10 makes me smile
@millerizo’s Azira Fell: 1000% terrifying. Would not want to meet in a dark alley. Or a light alley. Or anywhere, really. Magnificent beard. Only answers to Sir or Master. Will rule the world. 1000/10 I am so scared
@dotstronaut’s Azira: a DELIGHT. Excellent Sepia Reptile Husbands aesthetic. Tortoise aspect is such a different flavor and it slaps. Would deffo take out for drinks. The dapperest demon alive. 120/10 bb how did u even fall
@monkeycup’s Aleister: ADORE the name, very appropriate. Floppy scruffy moth bab, deffo the most evil. Will one day successfully tempt his angel to try cake. 14/10 you’ll get there one day sweetie
@professorflowers’ Zira: A BABIE. Did not deserve this. Must be protected at all costs. Cute head wings, good for literally everything. Bratty baby boi. Sweetest thing. Precious duckling. Can’t wait to see more of that bastard side. 938493824/10 I’m crying and have not stopped since I saw him
Will probably get around to rating their Crowleys soon but I had a Deep Need to rate the Aziraphales first.

From a fanfic! If someone recognizes it, please tell me! I started this in January, the one-shot is lost in the sea of my ao3 history page lol
I just remember Aziraphale fell only after giving Adam and Eve his sword, he has a goat(?) aspect and also takes the blame for humanity eating the forbidden fruit
A Demon
It's not that bad when you get used to it.

@goodomensafterdark see? Sometimes I do remember to tag you!

Raphael has some reservations about the scars on his human-shaped corporation, since higher ranking angels deem they are unsightly flaws.
He has no fear showing the largest one to Azeroth, for he trust the demon more than his own peers, who would accept any flaws he had regardless.
