There is not a shred of confidence in you as you stand in Leena’s large closet.

“Are we going for something colorful? Something demure?” She asks as she runs her hand over the countless dresses she owns.

“No. Something black because I’m dead inside.” You grumble to her.

Turning her head to you, she rolls her eyes before pulling out a simple black dress that screams money. She shakes the dress in hand and you shrug gently before grabbing it.

You’ve felt completely empty since that phone call last night. You’re a husk of a person, really. And, it isn’t so much that you feel bad anymore. It’s that you feel like a low life. 

This was not you. Having sex with a random guy once in a while, sure. You don’t have sex with married billionaires and you certainly don’t get pregnant on a whim.

And yet, here you are, shrugging on your best friend’s thousand dollar dress to go have lunch with your baby daddy.

The thought alone gets your stomach rolling. 

“I think I’m gonna be sick.” You whisper as you put your hand to your chest.

“Morning sickness?” Leena whispers nervously.
