I think I'm gonna start a another AU, this one is a bit of a mix between my normal Human Machines AU and swap AU. Role reversal AU! So basically the captains are the boats and the tugs get away with living normal human lives while being crew members aboard them. Alright, onto origins.

Star- Once Star was ratted out by his mother, instead of being used as a cruise ship like what he originally was, he was stripped down and built back up into a really large tramper with a lot of room for crew and storage. He's allowed to de-merge and he rarely piolets his own body but in the beginning he had a captain assigned to him until the company that owned him decided to take a chance and see what would happen if he ran a few contracts by himself. Zero- Zero was much the same case, except he was changed into a shipping container ship. His company was known for being very cheap so they let him sail himself so they could spare having to hire a captain and most of a crew, but they did have to hire the bare minimum requirement. His and Star's routes and schedules often line up so they pass each other often. O.J- O.J's son, who is also Captain Star's father, was quick to offer up to his son's owners to be his private doctor. They agreed as it saved them the effort of having to look for someone and also cut back on a lot of money. When O.J himself heard of this he was rather fast to change up his appearance and get aboard as a crew member, he got on as a cook and also doctor assistant for his son. Star was extremely relieved to have his family aboard with him, it made his new life in slavery a lot more bearable. Hercules- Herc was eventually let go as far as serving in the navy. He escaped the base not wanting to be scrapped and he ran all the way to hide amongst the cargo that Star would be transporting. Once he was accidentally taken aboard Star, he ran into the ship himself as he was searching for what was moving around in his cargo area that wasn't a rat or some other animal. He was surprised to see Hercules but once he sat down and listened to him on what had happened to him, he brought the young ocean tug up to his father so he could get a check over, and once his dad gave him the all-clear Star said that he could stay with him for a bit as long as he worked for it. Hercules agreed in a heartbeat and got to doing the heavy-duty work and once he was older he became more of a host as he gained some confidence. Zorran- Zorran was still discovered that he was a converter but the company that bought him was the same one that Zero belonged to. Zorran would often be Zero's personal tug to being docked and tugged back out from port so the two grew rather close, chatting whenever Zero had to wait on his new cargo to be loaded and whenever Zorran had the time. Other than that though they don't get the chance to talk often. Top Hat- Top Hat still willingly went to pool to be trained but he is owned by a different company now that obviously Stat tug And Marine doesn't exist. But the company that owns Star and the one that owns Top Hat are under the same parent company, so on the rare occasions they see each other for transporting cargo, they never get to chat for long though. Warrior & Big Mac- The two came up to work on Star as regular hires, they just happened to join the friend circle at some point that was exclusive to the ship and a few others. Ten Cents- TC was still put into civilian use when he proved to be a dud from the navy's breeding program. He was bought by the same company that owned Star and like Zorran with Zero he was used as Star's main tug to getting in and out of the harbor. Sunshine- Sunshine was just brought on as a little errand boy for Star when the staff started to prove to become rather large. He often chatted with the then known- 'exclusive club' of secret converters and soon he was getting to know Ten Cents as well as he liked chatting to the tug whenever they each had free time. Zebedee- Zeb actually applied to the company that owned Zero as a designer for the crew's uniforms. He got that job and as a regular worker aboard Zero, he was the first 'normal' person hired to work aboard Zero so the ship grew to liking Zeb rather fondly as he at the time was the only company he had at sea. Zak- Not long after Zeb was brought onto Zero, Zak was actually brought onto Zorran.

Yep, Zorran was giving a person to work aboard him. He didn't really mind it, after Zak was introduced to Zero and Zeb the four created a friend group of their own and chatted for hours whenever they had the time. Zip- Zip was next to be brought onto Zero as an errand boy much like Sunshine. To Zero and Zeb it was an interesting change of pace to have a young lad aboard, Zip definitely never made a day boring that was for sure. Zug- Zug a lot like Zak was actually hired to work on a tug, except it wasn't any of the Zero's it was either aboard Top Hat or Ten Cents, depending on the schedule. He does have some chances to chat to Zip though, but not as often enough as he does Sunshine so the two aren't really too close. If anyone has questions don't be afraid to ask, let's get this ball rolling.

I was thinking what if the Stars and Z-Stacks were vessels in the Great Lakes instead of tugs being in Bigg City Port

I don't know American locations, so for the sake of familiarity and that it's a cannon harbor in the show, I'm gonna stick to Bigg City.

Happy Gordon day! Well, it's the 5th for me but it's the 4/4th somewhere in the world. So I'm gonna sleep, and then give all these colour when I wake up. And finish that list.

I got a question for you guys, out of the AU's I have which one do you like to see the most? And would you be interested if I did asks on that AU? Mythic AU Giant AU Human Machines AU Fusion AU Swap AU Role Reverse AU The rest are ether off-shoots of my human-machine one or something more akin to a one-off. How would Stephen be like in any of your aus? Just curious.

Human Machines AU- Stephen was one of the first locomotive converters ever recorded, beforehand converters were only carriages for horses to pull or they were sailboats. When Stephen was 20 he entered the Railhill Trials under the hidden identity that his machine body was an actual machine that he had built. It wasn't until a few years later when locomotive converters became more widely known did he fess up to actually being a converter himself. Mythic AU- Stephen was born way back in the medieval times to a dragon and a nobleman. The nobleman kept the dragon in the dungeons and was surprised when she laid an egg and subsequently had birthed to a dragon shifter boy, that being Stephen. As Stephen grew up he made very close friends to the royal sorcerer's son, a young sir Robert Norramby. The two were as thick as thieves, until unfortunately one day their kingdom was taken over by a tyrant of the name Culdee. Robert fled the kingdom while Stephen was trapped away in a cave until the 18th century. When he was founded and released, he was immediately put to work as a puller for carriages as it was obvious he wasn't 100% human, and they treated him like how they did the many fauns they had enslaved. It wasn't until an event marked down in history as called the Rainhill Becoming that Stephen had finally had enough and showed his full dragon body, burning the whole event down to the ground. He was eventually captured again then dragged into assisting dwarfs in mines for a few decades. He was then chained up again at some point, and locked in a stasis spell as a museum exhibit before sir Robert had found him again and rescued him. Giant AU- Stephen is still Stephen in my giant AU as he was in a museum when the giant sickness first came into the world, and he was also quickly vaccinated so he wouldn't become one. He is Glynn's best friend once the scarlet giant came to work on the earl's estate. Fusion AU- Same storyline as my human machines au, but it is a very well-known fact that fusing with Stephen makes you an automatic powerhouse. His wisdom and overall training throughout the decades makes him a very hard person to beat, and if you add an extra few years of youth to him or something like a diesel fusing with him, you'd better start praying. Swap AU- In my swap AU Novelty actually replaces Stephen in history, so yeah... just replace Stephen with Novelty in everything that you know. Role Reverse AU- After humans have left earth and moved to mars, Rocket is the first steam locomotive converter to be born in over 100,000,000 years. Edward is amazingly still around during this time so the larger diesel-burning engine takes the little Rocket under his buffers.
