russian occupants in Crimea detained a crimean woman for simply using ukrainian language in her social networks
A Georgian man was killed by Russian occupiers on our own territory because he crossed an occupation line and literally no one will be held accountable because as always Russia gets its way silently killing Georgians for decades
Warning: Vent, swearing
Fuck Russia. Fuck it for how it forced me to be in this situation, strapping me out of my Ukrainian identify when I was so young. Fuck my parents for actually supporting this shit. Fuck me for being too young, too naive to understand what was going on and why it was wrong back in 2014. Fuck this goddamn world that just ignored what happened, pretending that it was normal, until there's began a whole war.
I feel like I'm having a whole freaking identity crisis because of it. Am I aggressor? Am I victim? I was born in Ukraine, and then forced into 'Russia' with annexing. I've spend half of my life under occupation. It probably means that I'm victim, but for the fucking sake... I grew under this illegal government, my parents pay taxes that support invasion in the other parts of Ukraine. I was raised in 'Russia' for the half of my life, even if it was illegally. As much as I'll say that Crimea is Ukraine, grow under annexation still affected me in many ways. I just don't fucking know who I am. I guess that why Russia made it's influence so strong, to make me, make us believe that we were never Ukrainian. And I hate it.
I looked through their Telegram (Crimean, not Sevastopolian) for interest. Disgusting stuff that I saw:
— They say that kh***ls (ruzzian slur for ukrainians) don't deserve to live in this word. And also dare to say that Ukrainians are nazi
— Mocking of the Ukraine supporters because they don't reveal themselves while admins of this group did. Like it isn't dangerous for anyone to say something in Ukraine support and that government would react in the same way for us both.
— A lot of criminal cases for people who said or post anything that supports Ukraine or says that Crimea is Ukraine. Including posts in the blocked in Ruzzia social medias like Instagram. And even signature in passport because it looked like words Слава Украине (Glory to Ukraine)
— Mentions of beating up their victims and threating to do so.
The comment section is even worse. I tried to looks through it a bit, but there was such a disgusting amount of ukrainophobia like insults, mocking and even death threats that I just couldn't do it much. It's just so awful. Their main goal is to intimidate Ukrainians in Crimea to make them shut. Maybe they can do this, but it won't change the truth.
Слава Україні

Sevastopol Smersh makes a year-end video of 2023 "successes".
they say we're afraid of them. There may be fear. but more overpowering is disgust at what you are. The sheer pettiness of attacking people who merely sing, speak, post on social media. It shows the paltriness of what russia has to offer-- it's you who's afraid of mere words, trying to suppress thoughts like little wannabe dictators.
We despise you and want no part of your russian microcosm that survives on fear, brutality, humiliation. All sane and free people hate everything you are, and your time is coming.
all who speak up for Ukraine are free in their hearts, and Crimea will be free.
and free people will give you justice.
Another fact about annexation I want to share.
In the next year after the annexation started, we received forms in school where we could choose to study Ukrainian and/or Crimean Tatar languages as a extracurricular activities. But, at the next day, the kids that had chosen to study them got yelled by our homeroom teacher and were forced to refill them. She explained it by the fact that we wouldn't go there anyway and our parents would be forced to pay the salary to the teacher because the government wouldn't if there weren't any classes. (And it sounds so stupid, )
Looking back, it was such a shitty excuse. They basically pretended to give us an option, while throwing it out the moment we had choose option that was 'wrong'

Today, it's ten years since the beginning of occupation of Crimea
This war goes on for ten years.
The FSB tortured a person detained on suspicion of undermining railway tracks with electric current - Crimean human rights defenders ➜ ZMINA

During the interrogation, despite the recognition of my guilt, I was subjected to torture, namely: I was put on a chair, my hands and feet were tied with tape, electric wires were attached to my fingers... During the torture, I always had a mask on my head, electric torture lasted about an hour ," Barannyk said. However, after admitting his guilt, the FSB officers continued the torture, accusing Barannyk of one more sabotage - blowing up the railway near the village of Chistenke, Simferopol district, on May 18. Simferopolets reported two more cases of torture by electric current: on the night of June 5-6 and June 9-10. Torture lasted for 6 hours. FSB officers forced me to slander myself for committing a crime that I did not commit. First, they tortured me with electric shocks, connecting electrical terminals to my fingers, toes, earlobes, and buttocks. They threatened to rape me with a stick, I took the threats seriously. Then they hit him with hands and feet on the body and head, as a result of which, I assume, a rib on the right side was broken. According to him, after the beating, his kidneys hurt a lot, he partially lost sensitivity in his right hand. " Then they put me on a military stretcher, tied my hands and feet with tape, put a rag on my face and started pouring water, simulating drowning. Torture by drowning was periodically changed to torture by electric current. All this time, they demanded that I confess to a crime that I did not commit ," says Kyrylo
Honestly, I feel like Yellow ribbon (жовта стрічка) movement is so important. Because it makes you feel like you are not alone — something that occupation government tries to enforce you to believe by restricting all the support for Ukraine just so it would seem like everyone totally and completely supports russia. Because when everyone just seems to support it, it's easy to feel like you're on the wrong side.
This just reminds me of how shitty the situation with water in Crimea actually is.
So, some cool facts. Each summer hot water is getting turned off for around three weeks. For some "repair works". Another cool fact, that my mutuals may know. This year I didn't have hot water for over a month not for official turn off. According to official info, something was broken. (And it took them a whole month to fix). Is it reasonable to ask how they check shit?
And this is not the top of the circus. From September of 2020 to the May of 2021 we didn't have hot water at all. And the cold water often was turned off too. Eight fucking months without hot water at all. The fucking winter. (Yes, its pretty warm in Crimea, but we're still have temperatures around zero from time to time.)
And then we have river that is WHITE because of chemicals? And some people in Crimea say that they don't have water RIGHT now. It's extreme hot, mind me
Being the only Ukraine-supporter in a family of prorussian separatists is so damn crazy. Like, I'm just helping out, while listening to my family calling ukranians "nazi" and slurs. Internal screaming

BRO I'M YELLOWCRYING☠️☠️☠️
[Eng (1 photo): Term of 'Zhdun' (Literally: the one who waits) needs to be consolidated on the state level, said the leader of Crimean international mission Zaur Smirnov.
In his opinion, consolidation of the concept will help to have a more effective fighting against this "Dangerous for the state phenomenon"
"Becides the administrative and criminal prosecution, the most evil zhduns russian citizenship must be revoked and maybe even expel them from the country"
[Second photo:] Wha???
We can already see it. Part of of the constitution on russian federation: "Zhdun is a citizen who lives in annexed and occuped parts of Ukraine on also on the russian territory, who doesn't fucking need russian federation"
[End]
Lmfao, help me. Should we tell this genius that most of the "evil" Zhduns will be very glad to be expelled out of here?
