practicing the Valley elders today, I wanted to get as close to canon as possible, but then I figured I would stylize it. Sorry I don’t have a sketch process, my lineart tends to be clean and that works against me sometimes

so i took the initial designs of the valley elders
And took minor details from artists on Pinterest. Each artist has a different way of portraying them but I thought it was a cool idea to combine them and see how they turned out. I feel like they look a little too battle-ready but Im glad they look somewhat close to the actual subjects.
Oh look! It’s finally done. Took me longer than I expected but the comics should get more simple as time goes on. i just wanted a formal entry to the story. Pacing is a little off but Id rather not spend another hour cleaning it up. I also tried toning down the cringe as much as I could but it’s not working and that upsets me.

i also realized I made a laughable amount of screwups on my last page but I’m not aiming for consistency, I’m aiming for improvement. I feel like it has a lot more depth with different line weights and shadows

Page three! Today’s areas of improvement were mostly color centered. Yes sah magically has hands sometimes. Logic has no place in sky cotl. I was gonna upload 2 pages but I wanted to get some content out before it took too long

youd think mekh’s hair would be easier for me but i actually have a huge problem with symmetry. i also busted my hand a couple days ago but ill try my best to keep up
I rarely doodle moths due to my inability to draw symmetrical things, but on the other hand sah is about to get the ever loving crap beaten out of him by a two foot tall moff
