Im not sure what it is but theres something that just pisses me off so much about seeing people portray Grian as a victim in YHS, i admit, yes all the indifference to violence and his blatant disregard other peoples feelings was probably caused by trauma, but it still annoys me to see everyone say how pUrE he was, this fucker literally helped Sam and Taurtis commit atrocities, he threw his classmate into a pit of endless suffering without even thinking, he willingly went along with dressing up as Taurtis which caused Sam’s delusions to worsen.  Grian is probably a sociopath just like Sam, they both insult people to their faces and bully people without empathy, Sam’s more delusional with a more warped, paranoid mind, while Grian has outbursts and goes into moments of yelling and insulting when he’s upset, yet they are the same in the way that they mistreat others without regard and only start to care about the situation if they’re in danger.  Grian didn’t care about them feeding the snowman in the christmas special until he realized he’d be in trouble, he didn’t care about teaming with the vikings in KoV until he realized he’d be assaulted, in the same series he didn’t care about being kidnapped until he realized he was the one being tortured (not raped), and he will dive at any opportunity to get out of any danger regardless of who it hurts.
