Kenlynn foreshadowed from the beginning

During episode 1 season 1 everyone is wearing their original outfits, most are simply a jacket over the outfit they will wear the rest of the show, or their outfit without tears. Except Kenji.

Darius, Ben, and Sammy, have jackets over the shirts they wear the rest of the show, while Kenji is wearing a completely different shirt, that we never see again after the first two episodes. 

He obviously matches Brooklyn, with her pink hair jacket and phone.

Every character’s outfit matches another

Ben and Darius both have hooded jackets that aren’t zipped up all the way.

Sammy and Yaz both have hood-less jackets that are zipped up all the way to cover their lower neck

And Kenji and Brooklyn have matching pink.

These outfits are supposed to foreshadow the relationships in the show. 

I had this what if scenario run through my head a few times: What if Sammy and Yaz knew each other before Camp Cretaceous?

Old Scars And Soft Touches

(Very short. And established yasammy)

Waking up every day after Isla Nublar made Yasmina more and more aware of the scars that littered her body. And as much as she wishes they would disappear and the torment they sentenced her to end, she knows it is impossible, but Sammy eased that pain slightly. Somedays, the two lay awake at night touching each scar, remembering how they got them even if the memories hurt it also helped.

It helped them heal even if it hurt. Healing takes time, and they know what they have been through will haunt them forever.
