I like to think that although Lawrence is tortured by the visions of Adam's corpse, Adam is still alive. Jigsaw just told both of them that the other is dead because he saw how fucking gay they were being in that bathroom and didn't want their highschool ass crushes on each other to fuck up their apprenticeships.
