I think i truly need to talk about scout from the outsiders tv show yet again because oml whenever i look up content about her its wither non existent,barely anything nice about her or hate on her.
“Shes replaced johnny 😞” NO!! Johnny died and hes talked about in the show and mentioned, shes a added character that pony meet in the pilot (i think i forgot) and new characters are fun in my opinion (if they aren’t awful characters)
“Shes a pick me” yet again no shes not a pick me, she had a crush on pony (it’s presumed) and when you have a crush on someone that has a crush on someone else it’s obviously gonna be a tiny bit upsetting, also the times she interacted with the boys was to either help them or because shes LITERALLY FRIENDS WITH THEM. (She’s also friends with cherry pony’s crush so 🧍)
“Shes rude/mean” ok first of all she lives in a broken/abusive home environment with her parents always fighting and obviously if thats what you’re always exposed to you will think its ok (not an excuse but still), she only acted standoffish and mean because she doesn’t know better and shes at home listening to fighting or whatever so she will clearly be in fight or flight mode whenever. Shes also very nice to her friends because shes opening up to them.

#8– since scout doesn’t have a confirmed age i headcannon him being 14 but older then pony(so like 14 in a half or however you say it)
