Tori invites Braylen to her dorm Pt 2

As Tori waits for Braylen, she decides to grab a bowl of cereal. Her bestie Julia is out in the lobby watching TV.

Tori: Hey boo.

Julia: Girl I am stressing over this algebra class. I got another freaking 82% on a quiz!

Tori: Oh really? [eye roll] and here I was stressing over some ding-a-ling.

Julia: ...... Are you serious?

Tori: [chews food] Huh?

Julia: If my GPA drops I lose my scholarship. I don't have the money to pay for these classes!

Tori: I get it... totally.... [Tori turns her head to roll her eyes]

Julia: How are you doing with your algebra? Do you think you can help -

Braylen can be heard buzzing into the lobby. Tori sees him walking in. She almost throws her bowl of cereal on the table in a rush to get up.

Tori: Damn - Girl. Let's talk later ok? I gotta go.

Julia: Oh... ok.

Tori fixes her dress as she gets up and sashays over to Braylen.

Braylen: Hey....

Tori: Hey. Come on. We gotta hurry. Our curfew is at 7 and I don't want to get caught.

Braylen: This is a nice dormitory.

Tori: It's pretty chill around here. But uh... you have rubbers right?

Braylen: Ohh your ping pong table is way cleaner -

Tori: Braylen!

Braylen: Huh?

Tori quits college pt 1

A few days after hooking up with Braylen, Tori feels disgusting. She thought getting laid would solve her uncertainties about school. She was wrong. School is not what she thought it would be. The parties are lame. The classes are a waste. The dorms are small. Tori is looking for excitement. She is looking for something that she can call her own. She wants to be an entrepreneur. The idea of going to college for 4 years and working for someone else - in hopes of a promotion is insanity.

Brittney: Good morning. How are you?

Tori: *Snicker* I am fed up.

Brittney: Huh? Maybe going to that party last night would have cheered you up.

Tori: I fell like it would have been lame, like the last one.

Brittney: Really? It looked like you were having fun with that boy. What was his name? He was at the party.

Tori: Ha. I was just passing the time. Braylen. Never again.

Brittney: Seriously? What happened?

Tori: He tried to stick his hand in my panties at the party. I just needed a quick fix and he let me down, like all the rest.

Brittney: How are your classes?

Tori: uhh.... boring. I can't find my flow, you know?

Britney: Yea.. I was like that when I got here. I couldn't find any friends and all the teachers were strict. You have to find where you fit in. I'm sure it will be sooner rather than later.

Tori: I don't know if I have that kind of time.

Angie joins the conversation.

Angie: Heyyy.... How about that party last night! I have the worse hangover. Tori you were missed.

Tori: I doubt I missed much.

Angie: Ohh.. What's with you?

Brittney: She hates it here.

Angie: I hate this dorm too. When we did the tour - it seemed so much bigger. My roommate hogs all of our fridge space. *chuckle*

*Tori eye roll*

*Brittney elbows Angie to be serious as Tori hangs her head*

Tori: I think I'm done. I don't want to be here anymore.

Angie: What?

Tori: I failed my last quiz. I give up. This isn't for me.

Angie: Girl, I can help you. Which class? There is still time to make it up.

Brittney: Yea, I can help out as well. I such at taking quizzes.

Tori: No. I am ok.

Angie: Are you sure?

Tori: Last night I thought about it.

Angie and Brittney look at each other quietly.

Brittney: What did you think about?

Tori: I am quitting school. I already packed up my room. I won't be renewing my classes or whatever. I can't be here anymore. I hate it here. I haven't learned anything. I can't even afford to be here. The food prices are ridiculus.

Brittney: What will you do?

Tori: I'll figure it out. I appreciate all that you ladies have tried to do for me. But this place is not for me. Maybe we will cross paths in the future.

Brittney: Wow. Can we throw you a goodbye party?

Tori: All of the parties here suck. No offense to you. I'm ok. You can always text me. I gotta go.

Angie: OMG. I never thought you would just give up like that. Wow.

Tori: I can only do so much. Do not judge me. Please

Tori quits college pt 4

Tori goes into her dorm room and looks around for the last time. She is getting ready to leave school grounds. She doesn't have any money or another place set up. Leaving the campus means she will be homeless. That is a big step. Tori left her parents home to enroll in college and returning home would mean she failed. Her parents are strict - that is not an option.

Tori leaves her dorm room and hears the other ladies quietly talking. They briefly look up and her, waiting for her to say something as she walks by.

Tori spend only 1 semester on campus. She was in her first year and her degree was undecided. College is way more intimidating than people like to talk about. The studying and homework is so fast pace. Sure Tori could have gotten a tutor - but she would have needed one the entire time. The classes were advanced and maybe that was because she wasn't interested. Not sure. But Tori had to find another way to succeed, and doing homework was not the answer.

Melissa prepares for induction Pt 1

Melissa & Aiden

Melissa: Hey babe. I have been so sick. I am having back pain like someone kicked me in the back.

Aiden: Let me give you a massage? I think it could help.

Melissa: It may. Do you think she is going to come early?

Aiden: Well, the induction date was before your due date. What do you consider early?

Melissa: Like.... today or tomorrow. My induction is in 8 days.

Aiden: How is your pain? Do you think they are Braxton hicks or contractions?

Melissa: This feels like the real thing. For sure. I can't get any relief - no matter how I twist and turn. Even my yoga isn't helping.

Melissa: I have been tracking my contractions - think - and it has been steady for the last day.

Aiden: What do you mean contractions?

Melissa: Maybe they aren't "steady" but I have one every hour - or every other hour. I lost some of my mucus plug.

Aiden: So...

Melissa: My midwife said to just keep track of it on my phone. So that is all I can do. I don't have any appointments scheduled, but I can set one up if need be.

Aiden: I think you should rest. Maybe lay down? Sitting in a chair is exhausting.

Melissa: Yea... maybe your right. I'll lay down for a bit. I hope I can feel better when I wake up.

Melissa takes a shower and then a nap after the salon visit. She slept for about an hour. Sitting at the salon really caused more comfort than originally thought.

Cop reveals to Justice what happened to Julius Pt 1

Julius leaves out and don’t return home. Several days pass and Justice hasn’t heard anything from him. She has been stressing out over what he did and what could potentially happen. One night - an office comes knocking at the door. When Justine sees the cop - her heart immediately stops beating. What could have happened now? Justice worries about Julius and her unborn child. Justice wasn’t sure if she should ignore the cop or talk to him. Julius never gave her any instructions. She was frightened. Was she in trouble? Did something happen to Julius? After about 10 minutes with the cop knocking at the door, Justice finally answers. 

Justice:*nervously* Yes? 

Everett: Good evening ma’am. Are you the wife of Mr. Julius? 

Justice: Who wants to know?

Everett: Ma’am we are investigating Mr. Julius and wanted to ask you some questions if you don’t mind?

Justice: Do I need a lawyer? 

Everett: Oh ma’am.... 

Everett sees that Justice is extremely nervous and decides to try a different approach. He stands and observes the house and neighborhood for a moment. 

Everett: *Takes a deep breath* A lovely night we are having......

Justice sits still and petrified, waiting for the officer to either arrest her or give her bad news.

Everett stands and faces the street for several minutes, trying to figure out how to break the news to young Justice. Justine is becoming more anxious, the longer he waits. 

Justice: Would you just get on with this? I need to get in the house and rest. 

Everett: So... will this be your first baby? 

Justice is growing extremely impatient and annoyed. She knows this cop didn’t come by to talk about her pregnancy. He is giving creep vibes now. 

Justice: Sir with all due respect, I am a tough girl. Please, just tell me why you are here.

Cop reveals to Justice what happened to Julius Pt 3

Everett: You just seem so young. How long have you been married to him? You have your whole life to look forward to. I don’t want to make any assumptions and misjudge this young man but.... 

Justice: Sir? 

Everett falls silent and stares at the streetlight. The news he is about to reveal is for sure going to ruin Justine’s life. He wasn’t going to tell her that he was the one who arrested Julius.

Justice: Sir.... please. 

Everett: Well, there was an attempted robbery attack a few nights ago in the borough of Willow Creek. I got the statement from the victim - 

Justice: Wait.... the victim is - OMG

Justice bursts out in tears. Julius claimed he killed the victim and cleaned the scene. Justine runs back the conversation she had with Julius and starts to painic. She starts to hyperventilate. 

Everett: Ma’am? Are you ok? 

If Justice doesn’t calm down, the cop with assume something is wrong or that she knows something. 

Justice: Sorry. The baby is acting crazy in my stomach. I get this crazy back spasm. Please continue.....

Everett: The statement from the victim identified the perpetrator. Apparently, the victim knows your husband. 

Justice: Wait... slow down. What are you saying? My husband attacked him?! 

Justice feels sick to her stomach because Julius was so sure there wouldn’t be a statement. She listens to the cop and tries to play clueless without losing her dinner. 

Everett: Ok, another individual and Julius arrived at the victim’s house to -

Justice: Nooo who is this other individual? How do you not know he is the real attacker? 

Everett: The victim identified Julius.

Justice: What did this other individual do and why can’t you tell me his name? 

Everett: The victim identified J - 

Justice: NO! Tell me what the statement said! 

Everett: *Sigh* The victim was trying to do a sale with Julius and .... we will call him Perpetrator B. 

Justice: Why can’t you tell me the other person's name? 

Everett: By law, that is confidential information. I’m sorry. You are the wife of Julius - legally I can only speak about him. They arrive at the victim’s home. They are standing outside on the front porch. The victim wants to make a purchase. He is speaking with Perpetrator B. Julius ducks off and claims to walk to the corner store for chips. While the victim is arguing with Perpetrator B, Julius can be heard breaking stuff in the house. The victim runs inside his home and a struggle ensues. It seems Julius snuck into the front door while the victim’s back was turned.

Justice: Are you sure it wasn’t the perpetrator? My Julius wouldn’t hurt a fly!

Cop reveals to Justice what happened to Julius Pt 5

Justice: OMG I can’t not believe this story. It doesn’t sound right. Where is the proof! Where is my husband! He is innocent!

Everett: Ma’am. We have him in custody. The victim was shot twice and rushed to the hospital. They removed the bullet fragments and investigators matched his fingerprints with the many things in the house.

Justice: OMG ..... ohhhhhhhh........

Everett: Are you alright? 

Justine: NO! You just told me, my husband is in custody for attempted murder! I am pregnant Sir. My baby is upset. 

Everett: Ma’am ... if you know anything. Please take my business card. The state is going forward with indicting your husband. I’m so sorry. If you need anything or have questions, please don’t hesitate to call. 

Justice breaks down and cries uncontrollably on the front porch. Either Julius lied to her or is just really stupid. He threw his life away for a couple of dollars. In that moment, Justine regretted ever wanting a life with Julius. His behavior has always been problematic but she thought with the right opportunity, he would leave the street life alone. Their child is going to grow up without him and this is not what she wanted.

Justice gives birth of Queen Pt 3

Justice is still waiting for an ultrasound. She has been waiting for 2 hours in the hospital room. She gets frustrated and decides to taxi a ride home. After taking a hot shower. She tries to take a nap but ends up nearly passing out from the pain, she decides to head back to the hospital. 

She arrives and tells the receptionist her water broke earlier, and the contractions are crippling. They whisk her off to the ultrasound room.... 

Dalia: Your cervix is dilated by 3 centimeters. We will have to get you admitted to a birthing room on the other side. 

Justice: Will the baby be ok? Im only 36 weeks.

Dalia: Your baby is measuring at 8 pounds already. The lungs look strong. I will consult with the doctor but it looks like you are having a baby today or tomorrow. 

Justice is freaking out. She doesn’t have anything for the baby. She doesn’t have any money. She hasn’t been to work since before she got pregnant. She worries about her future. 

Dr. April: Hello. I will be your delivering obstetrician. I have been told you have been in labor for 24 hours now and you are finally in active labor. I will be checking with you in an hour, ok? Did you need anything? 

Justice: Pain relief...... 

April: Ok. I will be right back.

Justice gives birth of Queen Pt 4

April comes back with the epidural and she checks Justice’s cervix. Justice turns around and tries to stay as still as possible. She hopes to get some rest, finally.

April: ....... You are still 3 centimeters. Hopefully this epidural will help. You will need to relax. 

Justice lays back in the bed and tries to rest. 

An hour goes by, and Justice can be heard screaming. April drops her clipboard and runs into her room. 

Justice: I.... I need help. AHhhhhhhh This baby is.... OMG Is it supposed to feel like this! 

April: Tell me what is wrong?! 

Justice: PLEASE check me. This baby is coming out. I feel so much pressure. There is a sharp pain. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee

April: Take a deep breath, do not push. Wait, let me see.... 

April grabs the uterine doppler to check the baby. She presses down on Justice’s belly and checks for firmness. 

Justice: AHHHHHHH! Stop STop Please Omg ! 

April: Justice the baby is crowning but you have not dilated anymore. The baby’s heartrate has skyrocketed. She is in distress. Your baby doesn’t like the epidural we gave you. We have to get you into surgery. 

We will have to do a c-section. Baby is in distress. You have been in labor and haven’t had any progress. I am sorry Justice. 

Justice: Omgggggg nooooo *crying hysterically* Why is this happening?! I want to give birth naturally. 

April: It seems that your baby may be stuck in the birth canal and this is common with big babies. Your baby is measuring big for her gestational age. That sharp pain you are feeling is due to the baby being stuck in your pelvis. Your body can not pass her through. Relax, we are going to prep you for surgery.

Tori meets Queen pt 1

After dropping out of college, Tori was on the streets. She had a few dollars left over from her parents and used it to stay in hotels. Eventually the money was going to run out, and Tori needed a plan.

Traveling through the neighborhood, she stumbled across a nightclub. There was a crowd of people outside the club in the middle of the day. This interested Tori.

Tori: Oh, hello. This club is jumping and it's only 1:30 PM. Is there a special occasion?

Queen: Hey. This club is open 24 hours a day. No special occasion. Are you a dancer?

Tori: A dancer? Ehhh... no. *Sigh* But if you are hiring I can become the best dancer in town.

Tori: Well, wait. Is there an age requirement?

Queen: No.

Tori: No?

Queen: There are all types of jobs I provide. You don't have to do anything you aren't ready for.

Tori: You provide? This is your club? You look so young.

Queen walks into the club and gestures Tori to follow her.

Queen: I know you have alot of questions. How old are you?

Tori: 18.

Queen: *chuckle* Perfect. Let's talk.

Tori: So, you said this is your club? You are so young though.

Queen: That is a story for another day. But what kind of work would you like to do? How much would you like to be paid? I can help you. I am looking for more girls to hire.

Tori: I don't have any skills. I've been to clubs before so I know what goes on here but I don't know if I am ready for all of that.

Queen: Like I said, there is no pressure. You can dance, bartend, socialize with clients or help me bookkeep.

Tori: Bookkeep?

Queen: I dropped out of high school so reading and business stuff is not my strong suit. I can admit I need help.

Tori: Oh.... yea I can definitely help with that. I studied the arts and took a few classes. I can read. I can help with something.

Queen: I like your vibe. I am open to giving you a chance, so the job is yours if you want.
