I did not forget to put the floorplan for my build (Tumblr). Only as of today have I started decorating an apartment unit. Here is my suggested floorplan:

I'm going to do different arrangements for the living/dining areas within each unit but everything else is remaining the same.

Penny Pizzazz Apt.

Since I gave Penny Pizzazz a CAS makeover, it was only right that I gave her an "IT" girl apartment redo!

It never made sense to me as to why the kitchen was so huge and she did not have a dedicated bedroom. Looking at my CAS makeover, I remembered seeing a video pop up of Shonda Rhimes touring her NYC apartment, with Architectural Digest, and fell in love. So, I am using it as the inspiration behind the interior. Do you know how strong of an impression something has to make on me to remember it 2 years later??!!

Have to say that I've always loved this lot's name. The plan is to turn my Fashion District into Tokyo, Japan. Hopefully, what I do with this build will translate well from my head. (lmao)

Since that is the plan, this neighborhood will be connected to Mt. Komorebi and vice versa, i.e. the residents of the Fashion District will have access to roam Mt. K freely through the Home Regions Mod.

As for the rest of the locals of San Myshuno, they will be allowed in the Fashion District to still roam about as "tourists".

The Arcade @ Planet Honey Pop!

It took me some time to get the layout BUT the floorplan is done and I started the arcade (lowkey almost finished).

Suite Life (Hotel & Resort Mod) by Lot51

Been playtesting the mod since about 2 days after its release (I am a Patron). It is the reason as to why I have quite a few hotel build WIPs in my build save. I held onto the Lot51 preview of the mod, on X, some months ago.

Anyhow, I'm thinking about converting the empty event space of my 'S Hotel @ Uptown' build to be functional with the mod. So...

L O T R E V I S I O N

I might share the converted space. However, if I don't and you would like to do it yourself, here is a suggested floorplan change.

Also, (1) close off the kitchen area and mark the door as 'Staff Room Entry', (2) Slap the bell at the front desk, located on the "ground" floor, (3) If you do convert one of the second floor bathrooms, keep it as gender neutral or split it into two, and (4) Use custom lot traits to make the hotel come alive (I tested it already).

As I near the end of my San Myshuno makeover, here is my little routine like Oasis Springs. Is it necessary to do this? Yes. LOL I'm really happy with my main save progress and I still have a lot of worlds to go!

Here is my not so berry rose gen's apartment before I begin working on her career. I'm not ready to finish playing her and inserting another chapter in. This way I can play her how I want, which was never on a normal lifespan.

Technically, going by the 3 primary colors... this palette falls within red LOL However, in all seriousness, her final home will center around the traditional shades -- with deeper tones.

The townhome, within my New York City: ONE build, was made to be her final residence. Hence, the red walls and a random yellow room. The yellow room is for my third gen!

I'm down to the last 3 lots of San Myshuno, the penthouse and park are the last 2 (I'm using other people's builds for the art gallery lot :D).

The Sims 4: GShade (Helpful Tip)

You do NOT have to completely uninstall GShade to get the dx11 option. I would like the community to stop working harder than they actually need to lol

IMPORTANT:

(1) If this does not work, THEN you will have to clean uninstall gshade from your system. I'd suggest to screenshot your in-game settings, if you have messed around with anything outside of the preset, and then wipe all gshade files from your system before you reinstall.

(2) You should save backup copies of your presets. They do not take up a lot of disk space. Also, convert any reshade presets to be properly tuned for gshade through the control panel's 'Tools' option. It helps with performance.

Open Gshade Control Panel

Click 'Installs'

Find TS4

Click the trash bin icon

Confirm

Click 'Add' and choose your paths for both the reinstallation and your screenshots. (Note -- the screenshot path can be changed at any time through the in game settings)

dx11 should now be available

[Note: This was done by me as I had just updated my game to the most recent patch, released September 18th.]

Does your system NOT support Dx11 or you simply cannot be bothered to put in the work?

There is an in-game option to switch it back to dx9

Stuck on an infinite load screen after upgrading?

You may have to batch fix your cc through Sims4Studio. This personally happened to me and the batch fixing solved it.

WARNING: BACK UP YOUR FILES. Do NOT batch fix your ENTIRE folder. Only do buildbuy and CAS. If you have a lot of CC, It will take HOURS.

Still not working out?

Go back to using dx9. I personally, backed up my entire sims 4 folder to my secondary drive before I even patched my game for dx11.

Willow Creek Updated Map View

I still have plans to finish the Drifter Challenge. The point of me doing it was to make over Oasis Springs and Willow Creek, the two worlds that it is revolved around. As you may, or may not, have seen... I completed Oasis Springs.

I switched out the commercial row for Vartosa's AMAZING builds that I have been eying since previews were shared some months ago. (When I REALLY like something, my mind is made up lol)

City Living Apartment - Interiors

Started the apartment for my toxic Romance Consultant sim (haha). The idea behind it is for him to be a bachelor, in every typical sense of the word. His apartment is luxurious because he hired one of his clients, who is an interior decorator. A little bit of "I really need my home done" and "let me flex how much money I have so that I can get with her". (Spoiler: It worked because they occasionally meet up for drinks while he is off of the clock)
