blue stopped in his tracks and lolled his head back just a little before slowly turning towards the other. his face bore no expression, but he was sure that she could tell he was quite aggravated with her. 

“ …… out.” he responded.

he shoved his hands into his pocket and adjusted his stance, shifting his weight onto his other leg. it was the same routine. he would go out, come back, and she’d be standing right there, her arms crossed, and the disappointment terribly evident in her eyes. an endless cycle that had been continuing on for weeks on end, one that he just couldn’t understand, and he was tired of it. he locked gazes with the other and emitted a deep sigh, realizing that his one word answer was not going to give him a pass.

“ i just went for a walk, okay, ian?”

the lad almost sounded desperate, but thats because he was. there was only so much he could do in a house he was a prisoner to.
