My Top 5 Smoshcast Episodes

After listening through every single episode of the Smoshcast, I present to everyone my Top 5 from #1-54!

Number 5- “#2 - We Need To Talk About Anthony” with Ian, Olivia, and Shayne

I love the dynamic between Olivia and Shayne, and the bit where Olivia just shits on Shayne is hilarious. This episode was super funny and I always laugh at the story about Beyoncé vs Rihanna every single time I listen to it. As soon as I listened to it I knew it would become one of my favorites.

Number 4- “#53 - What Really Happened On The TNTL Tour” with Courtney, Keith, and Shayne

This Smoshcast was really funny, and while I like seeing more than the same four people on the podcast, the Shayne/Keith dynamic is great. Hearing about what happened on the tour was also nice. Idk, there isn’t exactly much that stands out in this podcast, but I think that’s why I like it so much.

Number 3- “#18 - Olivia’s Bald Spot and How Defy Forced Us To Be Friends” with Courtney, Mari, and Olivia

This was the first episode that came out when I first subscribed to the Smoshcast channel. Hearing Liv, Mari, and Court talk about the experiences they had while at Defy were really interesting. Also, hearing them talk about self-care and how they feel a lot better about themselves motivates me every time I listen to this episode. I also just love it when Mari’s on the podcast.

Number 2- “#53 - Destigmatizing Our Mental Illnesses” with Damien, Kevin, and Keith

For those who were following me when this episode came out, you could probably tell I was super excited for it. It wasn’t just the same four people that we always saw up until then. Keith being on the podcast was refreshing and Kevin was amazing as well. I’ve always loved Kevin and it made me happy that he was able to share his experiences with ADHD. Damien was a great host and just seeing these three bounce off of each other so well makes we wish we saw more of that in normal videos.

Honorable Mentions:

This won’t take too long, but these are some of the episodes that I still love but didn’t put on the list.

“Bonus: Live From Vidcon 2019” - it was nice seeing everyone who went to vidcon on the podcast, and I loved the audience interaction!

“#29 - So Random Reunion Special” - this episode was hilarious and I loved everyone on the podcast. The stories were insane and Matthew and Ashley are amazing!

“#43 - Last To Leave The Office Wins $100,000 (Radio Play)” - this episode was not like the others but that’s what made it great. Listening to it while I’m on the bus was great, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat. The sound effects were great and I hope they do more radio plays in the future!

And for #1...

Number 1- “#17 - Body Dysmorphia and Why Damien Hates Dating” with Ian, Damien, and Shayne

This episode was what got me to love the Smoshcast. Seeing these three open up about themselves was wonderful, but the episode was also funny. Hearing these people talk about reasons why they don’t love themselves as much as they think they should almost made me cry. On top of that, Damien and Shayne trying to make the other feel better about themselves was heart-warming, and while the episode came out in June 2019, I still love it and listen to it all of the time. It definitely has a special place in my heart.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed that. Even if you don’t listen to the Smoshcast, I would still definitely recommend the episodes I mentioned.

Saige & Damien talking about a VERY good example of how to NOT talk about a woman/fem-presenting person. Especially if that person is the producer of a project you're helping to promote and CEO of the company that is creating the project. I can't imagine how embarrassed that dude's "friends" were. This is honestly the most pissed off I've seen Damien. Also, the most supportive of Saige and all she does on PixelCircus ♥️

Saige’s Instastory (11/17/21)

I did like the video, but I do mostly agree. I feel like if they played video games more often/at all these days I would have appreciated it a lot more. Cause then it would have felt more like a fun one-off than "almost giving the people what they want", if that makes sense?

I did think it was fun to see those specific characters interact with each other (correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was a first?) and it was entertaining to me, that they had to keep the whole "I'm not scared of anything"-thing going while they were obviously flinching out of character.

But ultimately I'd be more into it, if the video was surrounded by more videos of them playing video games as themselves. Or if they at least did a small segment at the end where Courney and Shayne gave their real thoughts on the game.

i wish they just played video games as themselves, like today they uploaded them playing poppy playtime but as the chosen and as brinana boho like idk if this was just me but I would like to see shayne and courtney playing and reacting to the game I know they are reacting as themselves but they have to be in character for the whole video, I wanna see what y’all think about it

*I had my bet on red. But RIGHT before the stream, I changed my mind to purple. I did donate as if my official bet was red with a slight twist. I will post that clip & one more tomorrow. Hopefully, before I have to go work a 6hr shift. If not before, definitely when I get home.*

I really love this tie-dye shirt! This shirt is making me want to buy a tie-dye shirt for myself. It's weird that I am being pretty money conscious when I'm about to get my first paycheck from my job & after working eight 6hr shifts (w/7 shifts in a row) at $11.25/hr, pre-taxes will be ~$500. Basically, Saige looks cute in this shirt & I'm jealous and will get one for myself possibly soon. And will be getting a better big 1st paycheck
