I'd been working on this small painting of Snorlax and Munchlax over the holidays as a gift for my friend. I'd been avoiding posting about it as to not ruin the surprise. Finally got to pass it on to him though, so that's that.
Due to popular demand (well, not really, but a friend did ask me to make it), I've used my digital seamstressing abilities to make "The Dress" as seen here being modeled by my lovely Mayor. Comes in both black and blue, AND gold and white. Enjoy guys~

Awhile back, I wanted to make a story about a tree/forest spirit that's forced to live in some shitty apartment in New York after his habitat was demolished for more housing or whatever. He then spends his days just trying to coexist with the people around him, occasionally using his spiritual nature powers to help others in some way; probably solve crimes, or like, grow a rooftop garden? I wasn't really sure where I was going with it, but he's still one of my favorite characters to draw. #snaxart #drawing #treespiritwhat
I've had Ghibli on the brain lately since I'd been working on this one for a couple of days now. I've actually been marathoning a few movies, haha. I'd originally sketched this out to cover up a pretty embarrassing journal entry in my book. In the end, I decided to color it too; to further cover up my shame, of course, but also because Spirited Away really was one of my favorite films :) those are supposed to be gold nuggets in his hands, by the way, although you can easily mistake it for buttery popcorn. When I was ten, all I wanted to do was travel the world and become a Pokémon master. Thinking about it now, I'm pretty sure I would have died; like, the moment I'd have stepped out of the house. That's a lot of responsibility and safety hazards for a ten year old. Even now, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't really survive the world of Pokémon. We were decorating baby bibs at @mijavera and @tomorobo 's baby shower today! Took awhile for me to figure out what to put on mine, but settled on this chubby little clefairy! It was a lot of fun! Hope Mija and Jode's future gamer daughter will enjoy getting her mashed peas and carrots on this.
