:D ok! i’ve updated the Sonic character anatomy, this is basic though but i really hope is easy to understand (because i’ think i’m not good enough explaining things with words lol) and it results useful to anyone who might need it ^_^  

just some other tips to improve:

try drawing comics! on comics you have to try new poses, angles and expressions.. is reaally helpful to improve your drawing skills!

look at official art for reference

listen to cool music! XD it always helps to get inspired hehe

A friend of mine is learning how to draw and was having trouble with Sonic’s eyebrows.

I made this to try and explain my thought process, and help emphasize that learning how to draw ‘3D’ shapes is important.

This isn’t the best tut but I hope it gets my point across and helps!

i always thought it was funny how everyone agreed on shadow's shoes being difficult to draw, i used to struggle w them too, but it's actually more easier than it seems! the key is to visualize the correct shape first and draw the rest of the shoe around it.

the shape of sonic's shoes it's more closer to a triangle type of shape while shadow's is more like an oval.
