Fablehaven Giant’s Truth Collar Theories

Okay, so I heard people complaining about the inconsistent lore about the truth collars in book 4, Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary. 

Agad put the collar on Thronis, and Thronis put mini ones on everyone else, but couldn’t take his own off. So I have two theories on this-

1) They were a Giant invention, that once put on, can only be taken off by the person who put it on. So Thronis can’t take his off, because only Agad can.

2) Agad put the collar on Thronis. Wanting to get it off, Thronis began experimenting and trying to replicate it, to learn how to take his off. In the end, he made miniature, weaker ones, but not the same. Thronis then put the weaker ones on Kendra’s friends.

These are only theories, but I hope they make sense!

I'm sorry, but poisonous, venomous, danger-to-exist-in-the-general-vicinity-of Siletta is more brightly coloured than a poison dart frog in my mind. That's just how it is now.
