RRR won the oscar, and while naatu naatu isn't the best song in the movie (seriously, there were so many other good songs in RRR that should have been nominated), let's take this as a win for south indians.

forever a funny experience when north indians say they "love RRR" as if they didn't hate on or make fun of the south indian film industry at any chance they got before southern success, for example poking fun of south indian languages, cultures, religious practices portrayed in film, etc !! we can and should all celebrate film, regardless of where it's from, but dear people from the north, don't be a hypocrite in this and start claiming wins that don't belong to you, and most importantly, don't erase the fact, which s.s. rajamouli himself explicitly mentioned to north indian and american media outlets, RRR is a TELUGU film.

ya'll better not forget after this oscar win that RRR is a TELUGU movie, and it is a win for TOLLYWOOD film and south indians. bollywood and north india has disrespected our culture consistently in film and TV shows, and you can't just claim our wins for yourselves.
