The fact that Sae and Rin are threatening Y/N with her favorite book if she doesn't delete the picture is kind of toxic. It's her choice if she wants to delete it or not. I understand that they are jealous and protective of her, but still, it's toxic.

firstly: thanks for the criticism. friendly and objective criticism is always welcome! and sorry my reply took so long. I wanted to make sure I stay objective with all of this and also asked someone for their thoughts.
secondly: I understand your point. and I want to put my thoughts on that.
before yβall start to read, I want to speak out a spoiler warning for the manga.
we know Sae and Rin started to have a rocky relationship at some point (the fight they had when Sae came home from Spain).
Luna did something to Sae in his time in Spain to bring him to think like how heβs thinking. Luna did something to that boy, bringing him to decide to give up his dearest dream he shared with his brother and aim for something else. and this stuck so much with him, that he gave it to Rin.
they both received such a big rejection for the thing they love the most, it left a big scar in both of them. and this scar is still fresh and looks like it will not start heal until both of them apologise to each other and go on together.
so I think they would do it more subconscious on their partner. the rejection burned itself down in both of their minds, when they realise they canβt receive something they want on the the way they already are going, they shall not get it. and they project this mindset on their partner.
lastly: this of course is only my view on them. if you, anon, or anybody else disagrees with me, Iβm open for any discourse and to change my mind on my thoughts and Iβll try better in the future. still, the post will stay online. not because I would lose followers and likes. I do this out for my own fun and out of pure boredom.
