Not only has Robin seen Steve’s dick, she’s had a bunch of follow-up questions (“-so can it actually, like, get bigger?” “I am not answering you sober.” “Steve, it’s the middle of our shift, where am I going to get alcohol?”), has looked at photographs/film of other dicks for comparison and concluded that - as dicks go - Steve’s is pretty aesthetically pleasing.
Whether she informs him of this as part of a daily report on her research progress, as a compliment to bolster his self-esteem when he’s crying in the bathroom over someone who doesn’t deserve him or if she brings it up apropos of nothing during movie night that there’s a nude/sex scene - up to you. Regardless of context, Steve is genuinely touched and flattered and everyone else within earshot is fucking baffled.
everyone loves uncomfortably close stobin until we start talking about steve’s dick lmao. then they have a relationship that’s reminiscent of two ten year olds lol
really though, stobin are the kind of friends that walk in on each other in the shower to ask where they’re going for lunch. zero boundaries babey.
also, robin doing research on steve is so real to me, the stobin discord jokes about it all the time lmao. she has little notebooks, and any time he does something unusual it’s being picked apart and decoded.
also, also. any time they’re watching tv and a hot guy/gal comes on screen, it’s: “you’re wayyy hotter” “you could get her easy” “your boobs are totally better than his” they like reassuring each other <3
I LOVE IT SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️
y'all need to get on this and read it 🫶🫶
it is seven in the fucking morning.
steve needs help with his eddie munson centric gay crisis. robin, apparently, missed the 'steve is bisexual now' memo.
“Why doesn’t Eddie want to kiss me?” Robin, behind the counter at Family Video, stares at Steve like he’s fucking crazy.
Steve: Don't go to the kitchen
Robin: Why?
Steve: I saw a spider
Robin: Well, did you kill it?
Steve: It has 8 arms and I only have 2, it's not fair…
We often see Robin focused on her own love life (or lack thereof) while Steve collects more You Suck tallies on the board, but imagine Steve does find a girl he dates that he hits it off with?
He aces dates 1 through 5 and suddenly he's around a little less, his new relationship looking serious, and Robin isn't jealous but--
She is worried.
That's her best friend. Her platonic soulmate!
She doesn't think Steve would ever stop being those things--Her dingus has a soft squishy heart under all that hair.
Problem is, Robin's seen this play out before.
Had band friends drift away because someone's dating someone else and suddenly they're all wrapped up in each other's lives, friends pushed to the wayside.
She doesn't say anything though. Knows how lonely Steve is. How much he wants (and deserves) a relationship.
Then the worst possible fucking thing happens: Steve's new girl telling him she isn't comfortable with Robin.
That she doesn't believe girls and guys can be "just friends" and would Steve please stop seeing Robin so much? Please?
Her friends even saw him taking Robin out to lunch yesterday and thought he was cheating!
Of course she knows Steve isn't cheating. He'll prove it to her, right? By letting Robin know they can only be coworkers? And their friendship?
Robin hears all this at her and Steve's next shared work shift, and she feels the floor of her world give out beneath her.
Fear and hurt crawling up her throat because of course Steve can't tell whatever her name is why Robin will never date him.
Of course this chick clearly isn't taking Steve's regular excuses as an answer, and--oh God, what if Robin is losing him, isn't she?
Then Steve's done talking, clearly expecting Robin to say something, and oops she may have been panicking and not listening there at the end but she manages a very choked up;
"I mean if you think shes like, the one..." because what is she supposed to say!?
And Steve, the only person Robin's met who craves a relationship as much as she does if not more, frowns at her with a bitchy little twist to his face and says: "What part of "so I told her that was ridiculous and we broke up" didn't you hear?"
Robin gasps a breath, the world stable once again. She doesn't know when she started crying but she does register Steve's panic when he clocks it, panicking and pulling her into a hug.
"Oh my God did you think I'd agree with her!?" He says and he sounds a little hurt about it, she'll have to fix that, but presently all Robin can do is cling to her best friend and sink deep into the knowledge that he really won't leave her.
Even for the things he wants in life the most.
Real
*grips your shoulders tightly* listen to me. you HAVE to make stobin weirder, okay? you have to make them the embodiment of that Secret Third Thing™️. they’re those cats at a shelter that you can’t separate for anything. make them do examinations of each others bodies cause they’re worried about a health issue. make them share a single piece of gum. make them swap pronouns and names and clothes on a regular basis. make them shower together. i need one of the kids to call for steve in a different room and have robin come to help instead because they’re one person. i need steve to show up to work wearing robins tag cause she’s too sick to come in. they have to get weirder, do you understand? it’s for their health.
obsessed with these two like omg

✨Birds of a Feather✨

Told you. Muppet. Okay, she does sound like a muppet.

What are you going to do, Robin, just stand here and gawk at her? Shut up. Robin. Robin!

First of all: fanfiction is about a writer training. Sometimes, writers take an inspiration to start something. Sometimes, theories are based on what could happen.
Second: Nobody is throwing shit at Robin. If you guys read a little, you'll see the imagines/hcs mentioning Robin having a girlfriend/female date.
Third: Maybe, a young girl identifies with Robin's personality and she must knows that liking a girl doesn't mean she is lesbian and tomorrow she might fall in love and identify as a bi, pan or literally WHATEVER.
Also: It's okay to shipp straight x straight, gay × gay, bc once you imagine, the characther is yours, you can even create a all new thing from it.
Remember: When you shipp a couple, they can or cannot get together. What you think romantic is up to you.
Most important: Why would you throw hate at people who are being totally clear about their respect over Robin or any other LBGT character?
Pls, calm down. People just need to put their creativity out. In the end, Robin will be what she is and nobody here can change that.
I don't mean to offend, I just don't see a point at fighting over this and/or making writers confused and bad about what they've created. Hope everyone enjoys this incredible character.
You're home
stobin hc
A/N: first time doing a hc and stobin, hope you like it

so let's begin - two years after coming out to Steve, Robin comes out to her parents
unfortunately, things don't go so good and her dad kicks her out (shit, it's the 80's)
her mom can't do much, so she packes her things in tears and leaves, hoping she would be back soon
lost, she calls Steve to pick her somewhere bc it's late at night
"Robin, what's wrong? Were you crying?"
"Just come, please."
He's there in a second.
Once he stops the car, he leaves and runs into her
They hug in the moment they get close enough
And she cries again
He doesn't make questions, just comforts her until they get in the car
He sleeps on the floor so she has the bed
Next morning she tells him what happened
"You can stay here as long as you need." "He'll change his mind."
"I don't know, Stev. I don't think it'll be any time soon."
She stays at his house for a couple a weeks until they find a place she can pay for
He would offer to help but this powerful lady takes no help
Stubborn, he would say
They end up hanging out there more than expected
Eventually his children show up
But she still misses her family
It still hurts
"What have I done wrong?"
"Nothing. There's nothing wrong with you."
Steve admires how she has this strong personality, she inspires him
"I miss home." - she says sad
"Hey," he holds her tight "you're home."
