Oh heck, look who’s back.

Thought I would die after the purge but look whose crawling back.

Either way, this is Jacinth. She’s my gemsona, I posted a bit about her on my DA. (Jacinths are basically red zircons, so you connect the dots.)

I wanna think she’s more cheerful than the other lapis lazuli’s. I just need more positive characters instead of sad ones.

My Gemsona, Jet!

Type of Gem: Jet

Gem Placement: Upper Left Arm

Pronouns: She/Her

History:  Was created in White's court but transferred to Blue's. From there she was sent to work at one of Blue's space stations that basically functioned like a rest stop. That's where she met Hauyne, a pilot/captain of one of the ships and they became like sisters. When Era 1 ended and the frightful Era 2 began, however, she was sent to work on a joint spaceship that held both Yellow and Blue Diamond gems. This spaceship was one of many sent to further scour the universe for possible resources due to the shortage. She met her best friend, Moonstone, while aboard this ship. 

Special Skill/Power: Jet's are often called 'batteries', since they have the ability to rejuvenate and even amp up other gems' energy and abilities. They cannot heal cracks, corruption, etc however. She is also immune to acid since her tears themselves are acid (a fact she often forgets about rip).

A long time ago I took some gems OC`s on the free-giving distribution on TH.

Now they have received a high-quality redesign and, I hope, it turned out good enough.

At least it was fun to draw these four.
